For that one comment on YouTube saying that this opening felt like a reward for watching the fillers, yes. Yes, it does feel like a reward.
This is the last opening for the first series of Naruto that led to Shippuden. What I mean by that is... literally, the very last episode is when Naruto leaves to train with Jiraiya.

The part where they show the boys in their suits and different hairstyles is better than the parts with Naruto and Lee sparring in a taijutsu match in my opinion.

...If only Sasuke was there. Just saying, it would've been more entertaining to see Sasuke in these fillers with the rest of the characters.
