There are so many spoilers in this opening, it's crazy. Good thing I skipped it, but at the same time, I wouldn't mind. Spoilers don't really bother me, instead it just hypes me up more to watch.
We have FLOW giving us Sign, and this song definitely fits the opening of the arc. Episodes 129-153, AKA, Tale of Jiraiya the Gallant, Fated Battle Between Brothers, Six-Tails Unleashed, and a bit of the Pain's Assualt arc. This was the peak of Shippuden.. where Naruto lost Jiraiya and Sasuke lost the guy who he sought to kill since the massacre, his brother.
Jiraiya was a good mentor, parent figure, sensei, and a legendary sannin. Naruto was devastated, but guess who was one of those friends who helped him through? Shikamaru, because he felt that same way when Asuma died.
This opening just hits hard, and the song is catchy asf.
