This is one of my favorite openings of Naruto, literally. How can anyone hate this opening?
Yes, I know it was used during a filler arc and a little bit of the Five Kage Summit arc, but come on. This was definitely up there with one of the greatest.
Backup information behind the filler arc.. it's basically the entire leaf village cleaning up after Pain's Assault and having flashbacks of their good times.
Look, the point I'm trying to say is that what made those fillers good is not only the plot (to me), but the opening. So for those saying how this opening was wasted for fillers... yeah, okay. You have your opinions.
This opening is basically Naruto falling into darkness and his friends saving him from that darkness, but when Sasuke is still in the darkness, he was willing to go back down there for him. That's exactly why I said that I love the development between the two.

Literally, my favorite part is when all of Naruto's comrades push him back up to the surface, like: You're not gonna die yet. Keep fighting.

PAUSE. This scene right here always gets me. Why is Sasuke so close to Naruto's face??? Do you have to be that close?
