(YN) Fenikkusu is a small, relatively weak girl. Despite her size, she makes up for it in speed and sheer willpower. This isn't enough for her though. She wants to become stronger to not only learn to control her clan's secret jutsu but also to find...
You were in the hospital when you got the news...Sumire-sensei was the one to tell you. You still couldn't believe it but the words of your sensei kept replaying in your mind.
"The Hokage is dead..."
"He died defending the village from Orochimaru..."
"The ceremony will be held tomorrow..."
You just couldn't believe it...how could this even happen? You weren't particularly close to the Hokage but he had always tried to help you...he even tried to relieve the burden of your necklace...he was a good leader and an even better person.
A sad sigh escaped your lips as you thought back on the third Hokage and you unconsciously gripped the blanket of your infirmary bed. You hated Orochimaru. He left so much pain and destruction in his wake. You'd like to make that jerk pay for everything he did.
As you thought this, a soft knock sounded on the door to your hospital room.
"Come in." You replied, watching as the door creaked open to reveal Kakashi.
He gave you a causal wave with his characteristic close-eyed smile as he walked into the room.
"Hey, how are you feeling?"
"I feel much better, my head hurts a little but the medical-nin did a good job healing me. They said my wounds were all superficial. I do have a minor concussion but they said I should be good as new in a few days. I just gotta rest and take it easy. They said I can return home today." You explained with a smile.
You were happy to see that Kakashi was okay and uninjured.
Kakashi nodded at your words as his eyes trailed to the bandage wrapped around the side of your head.
"That's good. I'm glad you are okay..."
It grew silent after Kakashi spoke. He carefully observed you, seeming to be contemplating his next words before a sigh escaped his lips.
"Well, I guess there's no way around it..." He muttered as he grabbed the chair beside the hospital bed and turned it to face you as he took a seat in it.
"Look (YN)...there's no easy way to say this but it needs to be said..." He continued growing more serious as he made eye contact with you.
"Your actions in the preliminary battle of the chunin exams were reckless and it seems you continued your reckless streak in fighting Gaara...your physical state is a testament to that." He gestured to your head and your bandaged hands.
"You need to stop before you get yourself killed. You react impulsively before truly thinking about the consequences of your actions and it endangers not only yourself but your comrades as well. Sakura very nearly could have died and I hear that you even helped to heal Gaara's wounds."
