The Boisterous Savior

The five of you stood in silence in the middle of Itachi and Sasuke's backyard. The silence was so awkward...You wanted to say something to break the uncomfortable silence but you were at a loss for words. Usually, you could think of something to say but you were unable to concentrate...You just couldn't shake the uncomfortable feeling of being watched.

You tried to brush off the feeling as nerves but as you surveyed your surroundings you saw that you were indeed being watched. Sakie was watching you.

Her light brown eyes were narrowed and a small frown was etched across her face. This wasn't entirely unusual for her though since she glared at you often. You couldn't help but wonder what she was so upset about though. As far as you knew you hadn't done anything wrong...

Shrugging off her behavior, you reverted your eyes to Sasuke, who was standing beside Sakie.

He was staring at his hands as he quietly twirled his thumbs. He seemed to be as uncomfortable with the silence as you were. Seeing that you weren't the only one who felt uncomfortable encouraged you to speak. So you quickly searched your brain for any possible conversation topics. Finally settling on something you opened your mouth to speak but before you could even utter a word your cousin Raion started talking. 

"Itachi. I've finally perfected my Taijutsu for when I join the Anbu next year." Raion said or rather blurted out randomly.

"Really?" Itachi raised an eyebrow questionably.

Raion nodded eagerly in response.

"Well then, you wouldn't mind sparring with me for a little bit then...would you?"

"No, I wouldn't mind at all." Raion grinned. 

Itachi nodded and gestured for Raion to follow him. Before the two of them left to spar Itachi looked back to the three of you and invited you to watch. You were about to say 'yes' but quickly shook your head 'no' when you saw Sakie's sharp glare.

"No thanks... I'm good." You murmured as you looked up at Itachi. He nodded his head and then looked at the other two for their answers.

"I'd love to watch!" Sakie exclaimed as she skipped over to Itachi's side. Itachi raised an eyebrow at the younger girl's behavior but didn't comment on it. He was probably used to girls fawning over him by now you concluded as Itachi turned his attention to Sasuke. 

"I'll stay here with (YN). So she's not alone." Sasuke said causing Itachi to nod approvingly at his brother's answer. Itachi then turned around and led the way to where you assumed he was going to spar with Raion.

Your eyes followed the three of their forms until they disappeared into the forest. Once they were gone you turned back to Sasuke.

"Hey, thanks for staying with me." You smiled, looking into the dark eyes of the boy who stood in front of you. His eye color reminded you of Itachi's but they were slightly darker in color and full of innocence.

"Don't worry about it. It's fine." Sasuke said with a small smile.

"Would you like to see something cool?" Sasuke added, his eyes practically glowing with excitement as he awaited your answer. 

"Sure! What is it?" You smiled, immediately growing interested in what Sasuke wanted to show you.

"Follow me and I'll show you." Sasuke smiled as he waved for you to follow him.

You nodded as you followed him out of the backyard. He then led you down a dirt path as he talked about all the different places he liked to go out in nature. After around eight minutes of walking the two of you reached a fairly large lake. There were trees surrounding the lake and a dock that rested over its dark waters.
