Blue Bird

~Two weeks after arriving in the Leaf Village~

It was around 7:00 in the morning and you were currently lying wide awake in your new bed. You had woken up from a nightmare and were unable to fall back asleep.

As you lay in bed, you stared up at the white ceiling of your small bedroom lost in thought. Your new 'family' had given you one of the smaller rooms in the house but you didn't mind. It was cozy and you didn't have all that much stuff anyway so it was the perfect size for you. You did have your very own bathroom which was a plus.

Your new 'family' wasn't too bad for the most part. A few of them were a bit rude though. One of the ruder ones was your cousin Sakie. She was a pretty girl with long blond hair and brown eyes. Her personality completely ruined her beauty though. Her bossy attitude and the fact that she seemed to hate you the moment she saw you made you dislike her.

After Sakie was your aunt Fumiko, Sakie's mother. She had short blonde hair with icy blue eyes and shared a bit of her daughter's mean streak. She wasn't always rude but you still couldn't help but dislike her a bit. This was mostly because she threw your clothes away because she claimed that they looked too boyish. It angered you but at least she had the decency to replace your clothes with some other outfits of your choice.

After Fumiko and Sakie were your Uncle Gyo and your cousin Raion. Neither of them were rude but your Uncle Gyo was a bit strict when it came to being on time to places. Your uncle was fairly tall with shoulder-length dark brown hair and mischievous dark green eyes. Your cousin Raion looked a lot like his father except he had brownish purple eyes. Raion was your favorite due to his playful personality.

You wondered if he was home today...as you thought this, a bird wildly zoomed past your window. Its loud caws caused you to jump as you turned your attention to it. 

"What the heck was that about?' You wondered aloud as you got out of bed and went over to the window.

You cracked the window open and stuck your head out into the cool morning air as the loud cawing continued. You quickly ducked back though a large bluish-grey falcon swooped past your face.

"Hey! You almost hit me you jerk." You frowned before smiling a bit as the beautiful bird began to twirl in the air as it flew.

You suddenly found yourself wishing that you could fly like that. If you could you would fly back to the sand village. You missed your uncle and friends. Your uncle sent you letters but it wasn't the same...

Suddenly the falcon stopped flying and hovered a few feet away from your window. Its large wings gracefully flapped up and down as it cawed at you. Its feathers were a mix of dark blue and dark grey. It was a truly beautiful bird. 

As you observed the falcon in wonder, it began cawing at you again.

Did it want you to follow it? You wondered, tilting your head before deciding to follow it. You didn't have anything else to do so you might as well. You then quickly spun around and ran over to your dresser. You opened the bottom drawer and pulled out one of your many new outfits. You then held the outfit up as you looked it over.
