"We're almost there. You're doing great."
Osamu tried to smile at his brother as they walked through the hallway together. Correction- Atsumu walked, while he was barely even stumbling along, grabbing onto Atsumu for support.
And he was tired of it.
"You don't have to say that, Tsumu. I'm not doing good at all."
The blonde frowned at him. "You're doing the best you can, Samu. I don't think anyone has repeatedly bounced back the way you have."
"But it's not good enough," Osamu yelled in frustration. "I can barely feel my legs. I can't even remember or keep track of who's come to visit me. I can't do anything, and I'm useless!"
He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. He couldn't remember the last time he had actually yelled at Atsumu.
His twin stayed quiet as they finished walking back to Osamu's room. It was his third lap of the day.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you. It's not your fault."
"I know, Samu, I know." Atsumu patted his shoulder. "I would be upset if I was you... But I think maybe we need to get you a punching bag or something. It's a healtheir way to get your frustration out."
Osamu laughed. "Ya know what? If you can convince the nurses to let me have one, I'll take it."
When they got back to the room there was a surprise waiting for them. Suna was sitting on the edge of the bed, focused on whatever was on his phone.
He finally looked up at the twins. "Took you two long enough."
Osamu made his way to his bed and immediately rested his head on Suna's shoulder. "Hey. I missed you."
Atsumu raised a brow at the visitor. "I can't believe you actually managed to stay away until now."
"Well," Suna sighed, "I do only get to visit my family once a year. And the both of you were pretty insistent that I spend time with them."
"And I'm glad you did," Osamu sighed. "But man I wanted to see you."
Atsumu cleared his throat. "Hi I am still here. And," he grinned,"I have a surprise for you, Samu."
He raised his brows. "Oh?"
Atsumu squatted and pulled something out from under Osamu's bed. He grinned as he got up and showed Osamu a box of their entire Wii set up.
Osamu laughed. He hadn't even noticed that it was under there. "When did you even put that there?"
"Your morning walk with mom and dad. We have no practice today, and if you're gonna be stuck here we might as well have some fun!"
Osamu looked between his twin and boyfriend. "Can we play Mario kart?"
Suna groaned. "Only for you."
His twin, on the other hand, looked so excited. "Sure thing, but I'm gonna take you down."
"In your dreams, Tsumu."
