**CHRIS POV**

I walked into the arena, and I heard her singing. We went in a back entrance and were quickly escorted to the private booth that was always reserved for family and friends of the artist. I had been in this booth before for another show one other time. It was a few years ago when I was in LA with Scott and Frankie was performing. Scott wanted to see her, so I got us in, and we watched the show then quickly left.

We got up to the booth and she was singing the last of a song I absolutely loved knowing it was about us.

🎵 Well, you stood there with me in the doorway
My hands shake, I'm not usually this way but
You pull me in and I'm a little more brave
It's the first kiss, it's flawless, really somethin'
It's fearless
Oh, yeah
Cause I don't know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me headfirst, fearless
And I don't know why but with you, I'd dance
In a storm in my best dress, fearless
Cause I don't know how it gets better than this
You take my hand and drag me head first, fearless
And I don't know why but with you, I'd dance
In a storm in my best dress, fearless🎵

The crowd was so loud when she was done singing and she was just looking around at the crowd and just taking it all in. She knew this was all for her and the fear she had yesterday was gone out the window. I could see her but she couldn't see me and couldn't see I was there, which was the way I loved it. I didn't want her to know.

"LA! You guys are freaking amazing!" She said into the mic and the crowd got louder. "You make a girl feel so welcome and happy to be back in her home away from home! You guys have no idea how excited I am to be back!" She continued.

I noticed a part of the stage rising up and some of the band and back up dancers walking down and sitting on the part of the stage that was raised. Frankie started walking to it but kept talking into the mic.

"Now since I am back in LA and since this is my home away from home, I was wondering if you guys would like a little treat?" Frankie asked and the crowd went wild. Even Scarlett, Sebastian, Mackie and I were cheering.

"She really knows how to make them crazy." Mackie said and I laughed with a nod.

Frankie sat down on the raised-up stage, "Now, I have a new song for you guys, something I have been working on since the tour started. Now this song is something I would start writing and then throw away because I didn't like it. Then pulled it out of the trash the next morning just to throw it away again. I knew this song had to be done but I just couldn't find the right words. This song is also very special to me because it's for someone very special in my life..." Frankie trailed off and I couldn't imagine how hot my cheeks felt especially went the crowd went nuts thinking they knew. By Frankie's smile it was right. She never told me she was writing a new song.

"You know about this?" Scarlett asked and I shook my head.

"Nope." I said.

"Well, that guy unfortunately can't be here tonight, he is doing his own thing here in LA being a big superhero and all..." Frankie trailed off in a funny mocking tone and the crowd went absolutely nuts as we all started laughing in the booth. "Now in reference to that guy in my life there is a line in the song that is about a certain superhero. How many Marvel fans are here?" Frankie asked and the place went nuts. "Well good, when you hear the line, I want you to cheer as loud as you can and make this man hear you and go "I must be missing a good show." Make him wonder about it." Frankie laughed. She then looks at the band mates and the song started playing.

🎵 Down the block there's an antique shop
And something in my head said "stop", so I walked in
On the counter was a cardboard box
And the sign said photos 25 cents each
Black and white saw a 30s bride and
Two lovers laughing on the porch of their first house
The kind of love that you only find once in a lifetime
The kind you don't put down
And that's when I called you, and it's so hard to explain
But in those photos, I saw us instead
And somehow I know that you and I would've found each other
In another life you still would've turned my head
Even if we'd met on a crowded street in 1944
And you were headed off to fight in the war
You still would've been mine
We would've been timeless🎵

The crowd went nuts with this line. I knew she was referencing Captain America and I started laughing hysterically and then cheered with the rest of the crowd. Leave it to Frankie to work in Captain America into a song.

🎵 I would've read your love letters every single night
And prayed to God you'd be coming home all right
And you would've been fine, we would've been timeless
Cause I believe that we were supposed to find this
So even in a different life
You still would've been mine
We would've been timeless
I had to smile when it caught my eye
There was one of a teenage couple in a driveway
Holding hands on the way to a dance
And the date on the back said 1958
Which brought me back to the first time I saw you
Time stood still like something in this old shop
I thought about it as I started looking 'round
At these precious things that time forgot
That's when I came upon a book covered in cobwebs
Story of a romance torn apart by fate
Hundreds of years ago, they fell in love like we did
And I'd die for you in the same way
If I first saw your face
In the 1500s up in a foreign land
And I was forced to marry another man
You still would've been mine
We would've been timeless
I would've read your love letters every single night
And run away and left it all behind
You still would've been mine
We would've been timeless
Cause I believe that we were supposed to find this
So even in a different life
You still would've been mine
We would've been timeless
Time breaks down your mind and body
Don't you let it touch your soul
It was like an age old classic
The first time that you saw me
The story started when you said hello
In a crowded room a few short years ago
And sometimes there's no proof, you just know
You're always gonna be mine
We're gonna be
I'm gonna love you when our hair is turning gray
We'll have a cardboard box of photos of the life we made
And you'll say "Oh my"
We really were timeless
We're gonna be timeless, timeless
You still would've been mine, we would've been
Even if we met
On a crowded street in 1944
Still would've been mine
You would've been
Down the block there's an antique shop
And something in my head said "stop", so I walked in🎵

The crowd was going nuts by the time she was done and I swore I saw her wipe a stray tear away. I felt like my heart was going to explode, she wrote this song on tour about us and it was us, we were going to be Timeless I was going to make sure of it.

**FRANKIE POV**

The show was over, I was looking to just get off this stage, rush to change and then get to my man. I wanted to hear all about how his premiere went as well as hanging out with his friends.

I did the closing on stage, I thanked the crowd and praised how amazing they were. I acknowledged my backup singers and band. This was a great show, and I almost didn't want it to end but knowing what I was getting to go to made it all better.

I rushed off the stage so I could get to the back, change and head to Chris's house. Security walked me to the back hallway where the dressing room was. As I turned down the empty hallway, I saw someone standing in front of my dressing room door and I knew who it was instantly.

"CHRIS!" I screamed. I ran to him and jumped in his arms as he passionately kissed me. Once we broke apart, he just looked at me and I smiled as I wouldn't let him go.

"Surprise!" Chris said and I just shook my head.

"How are you here?!" I asked confused.

"Why don't you change then we can go. We are going to meet Sebastian, Mackie and Scarlett at my place." Chris said and I nodded as I leaned up and kissed him again and he wrapped me in his arms.

"We are timeless." Chris whispered in my ear, and I smiled at this and the embrace. I was back in my man's arms. The only place I wanted to be.
