**CHRIS POV**
I sent Frankie a picture of Dodger and I asked her to come home even though I knew after Jimmy she was taking a late flight and flying into Boston. I was going to get the holidays with Frankie, and I couldn't be happier since after the first of the year she is going to be touring and I will have Captain America: Winter Solider press. We would work this out.
Hollie tried calling and texting me when I knew Frankie was filming and I was out and didn't have the best service. She said she needed to tell me something but I couldn't get the call to go through. I would talk to Frankie tonight after the show aired.
I was sitting in my living room, Ma and Scott were with me and Tara was walking in the door with Josh was right behind her.
"I'm so excited to see her." Chris said and everyone nodded.
"Let's pray she doesn't perform Miss Independent again, that song is driving me crazy." Tara said and we all glared at her.
"She can't sing the whole album Tara, it's whatever is being released as singles." Ma spoke up and I smiled at Ma for sticking up for her.
We talked through the first guy, he was a comedian, but he wasn't that funny, and I was just watching to see my girl. She would be home soon, staying with me, that's what we had planned. She would go to hear parents once in a while too, but we wanted to spend as much time together as we could.
There was a commercial break, and I knew Frankie would be up next. She was talking to Jimmy first and then performing.
"My next guest just doesn't slow down. She was on a break, said she was going to relax but she was releasing song after song and now we have a whole new album titled Change is Good. Soon she will be embarking on a US Tour, international dates upcoming after as well. Please Welcome out Frankie Devon!" Jimmy announced and we all cheered at the house as she walked out.
"Okay LOVE the outfit!" Scott said and I nodded. She looked damn good. Dodger was even barking hearing her name announced.
She waved, winked at the camera which I knew was to me and I blushed as she then sat down. Her and Jimmy started talking and he was picking on her for working too much. I knew she was working a lot but in our business that's what you had to do to stay relevant.
"You really changed it up with the album." Jimmy said.
"Well, I figured the heartbreak songs were getting old and it was time and change it up since my life is changing and I'm growing up." Frankie said and Jimmy smiled.
"Is there someone who is behind all these happy songs?" Jimmy asked and the audience went silent. I just sighed, she was a pro, she could get through this.
"I don't kiss and tell Jimmy." Frankie said coyly, I just smiled.
"Well don't play shy. We all saw the pictures of you and Chris Evans in LA at the coffee shop soon after the last appearance here." Jimmy said.
There it was, the past coming back to bite us in the ass. I really hoped she could do this...I knew she could.
"Yeah, well that was just two people that met on your show, meeting up in LA. It happens." Frankie said.
She was handing this like a champ. I never wanted to be the one who hid the relationship, but we had plans on announcing it over the holidays and just letting everyone know we were together, and they could make their own assumptions.
I saw Jimmy reaching beside him meaning he was pulling something out to show. I got nervous, I could tell Frankie was too. She was slightly wringing her hands in her lap and tapping her foot.
