CHAPTER 23

Hindi ako nakatulog sa sobrang sakit ng nararamdaman ko, I called him for fucking many times pero hindi niya sinasagot. Umaasa ako na magpapaliwanag siya sa'kin, umaasa rin ako na baka relative nila yung Zara o Rain na 'yon, whatever her name is!

Inaway ko siya sa text pero wala akong natanggap na anumang reply mula sa kaniya. Namamaga ang mga mata ko kakaiyak kagabi hanggang magdamag, wala na akong ganang pumasok ng school dahil sa itsura ko.

Pero wala akong choice kundi ang mag-ayos ng sarili, lumabas ako ng silid ko dahil gusto ko muna siyang kausapin kahit saglit lang, I want a clarification, ngayon mismo!

I walked towards his room but stopped in my tracks when I saw him coming out of a room, he was just wearing a robe and it felt like a cold splash of water when I saw Rain following behind him.

I didn't answer her and walked into his room across the hall. I clenched my fists and as he entered, I immediately gave him a cold look, he briefly glanced at me and walked towards the closet to look for something to wear.

"How dare you! Doon ka ba natulog sa room ng babaeng 'yon?! Damn you Welius! Tinawagan kita ng paulit-ulit, tinext kita pero binaliwala mo lang ako! Kaya ba hindi mo nasagot ang mga tawag ko dahil nag-eenjoy kayo sa isa't-isa?! Pinaglalaruan mo ba ako ha?"

He didn't answer me and it seemed like he didn't hear anything, I forcefully pulled his arm causing him to look at me. His eyes were so emotionless which made the pain in my heart intensify, I couldn't bear his gaze that seemed like he no longer loved me. Just like that? The moment that woman arrived, he forgot all his promises to me?

"Who is she? Answer me! Did you have sex with her last night? Did you sleep with her? A-Answer me!"

My voice was trembling and at any moment, I could burst into tears in front of him. I felt even more hurt when he avoided his arm from mine.

"Get out of my room," malamig na boses niyang sabi. Parang may tinik na bumara sa lalamunan ko nang sabihin niya 'yon.

"How dare you?! Pagkatapos ng lahat 'yan lang ang sasabihin mo?! N-Nangako ka sa'kin, hinding-hindi mo ako sasaktan! S-Sinungaling ka! Sinungaling!"

Pinagsusuntok ko siya sa dibdib at sinampal ko siya ng ilang beses ngunit alam kong hindi siya nasasaktan sa sampal ko dahil wala na akong lakas. Ngunit natigilan ako dahil hinawakan niya bigla yung magkabilang braso ko.

"S-Sino siya sa buhay mo! S-Sabihin mo sa'kin ang lahat-lahat! H-Hindi mo magagawa s-sakin 'to Welius! No, you can't d-do this to me..." humihikbi kong sabi, I promised to myself na hindi na ako iiyak pa pero hindi ko na kaya. Parang mabibiyak ang puso ko sa sakit, even he's not telling me that he doesn't want me anymore parang ganun narin dahil sa ginagawa niya sa'kin.

Wala na yata akong pride, sa lahat ng nasaksihan ko, sa lahat ng sama ng loob at sakit na naramdaman ko mula kahapon hanggang ngayon nagawa ko paring magmakaawa sa kaniya. Pakiramdam ko ito na yung katapusan ng lahat, the way he stared at me, it seems like his eyes has no concerns anymore.
