i rushed to the car with jacks keys and told him what just happened.

"what?" he laughed as i nodded.

"i know right, she wasn't even bothered by it. my mom would've flipped shit" i said as he started the car.

"well jazzy, off to our date" he said as we pulled out the drive way.

i looked out the window most of the time, looking at the houses, trees and the people simply walking by.

omaha was my home town, my favorite place to be. I grew up here born and raised, along side jack and jack.

but jj moved a while back.

it was a sad time for me and g to get over.

johnson was our right hand man, the one who lifted us up when we were down.

or the one who just made you smile. and he left.

it was sad, incredibly sad for the both of us.

but i'm still glad to have at least one jack.
the act so much a like.

i smiled thinking of old time memories when they would make youtube videos in the basement and i would watch.

jack pulled me out of my daze, pushing my shoulder.

"hey?" he chuckled.

"come on"

i smiled and got out to see that we were at panera bread.

i know its not a big fancy restauraunt but he knows i love places like this.

i looked at the menu going over the things i've seen countless times.

"hey um can i have a thai chicken salad, and a clam chowder soup" i said as she nodded.

"and for you" she smiled up at jack.

"the same she's having except can i have a potato soup" he said finally looking down at her.
"anything else?" she asked.

"yes two lemonades" he said and she gathered our total.

"that'll be 10.23" she said as jack handed her the money.

"jack i'll pay for mys-
"shut up i'm paying" he laughed

we sat at a near by table, talking.
he was in the middle of telling me a story when i zoned out and just looked at him.

i never really noticed how handsome he is.
his perfect jawline, his perfect structure, his white teeth so precisely aligned. his deep brown eyes and his perfectly shaped eyebrows.
him, just the mere presence of him.

"jazzy?" he questioned as i answered quickly.

"yes?"

"the food is here" he laughed as i blushed looking away from him.

"scarlett" he paused.

"6:00 o'clock" he added as i turned around.

she walked in and trailing behind her was nate.

"holy shit" i gasped as i looked back at jack.

he was staring at scarlett.

"okay okay just act natural" i said as he nodded.
"right".

"wait we don't have any spoons" i said as he cursed under his breath.

"i'll get them" i said.

i soon regretted my decision because i have to walk past them both.

i kept my head down most of the way but i was caught up when i bumped into someone.

"oh i'm sorry sir" i said as he smiled.

"it's okay"

unfortunately this caught nate's attention.

"jazzy?" he questioned.

his voice deep and husky.

i ignored him and kept walking.

he got out of line and grabbed my arm.

"hey" he smiled.

"hi" i said shyly.

he reached his arms out and i accepted the hug.

"who are you here with?" he asked

"jack" i said simply.

"oh" he paused.

"is he like your boyfriend?" he said as i shook my head no.

"no he's just my friend" i said as he smirked.

"good"
"because i was wondering, if you wanted to go out any time soon" he said as i smiled.

"yeah, that would be great" i answered.

"ok so tomorrow at 4?" he questioned.

"sure" i said.

"ok until then" he said and kissed my cheek.

my face heated up and i blushed.

he winked at me and walked away.

i looked back at jack who was waiting patiently at the table.

i've got a date with nate fucking maloley.
