i arranged a table and some lights to make it more like an actual restaurant in my back yard.
i sat at the table on my phone waiting for him.

come around the back
i walked to the back gate opening it for him, "your late jack" is
said to him as he sighed
"fashionably" he said chuckling
"that was really corny" i said laughing at him.
"okay basically follow me over here" i said leading him to a table i set up.
"i know its not real food but just act like it is" i said as he laughed.
we sat in silence until i spoke up.
"say something, try to act like im scarlett" i said trying to ease him.
"i already have that covered" he paused "its easy to bring up a conversation with her, but having to think about her is hard" he finished.
"i don't know its really weird, i like her so much but i can't remember her voice sometimes" he shrugged.
"jazzy" he said looking my in the eyes.
"yeah?" i said to him as he breathed out slowly.
"i need to ask you something but before i do i need to tell you something as well" he said as i tilted my head to the side.
"okay?"
"mhm" i replied.
"i've never had a girlfriend" he said as i laughed.
"yeah right jack, you're hot. what about leigh?" i said "i lied" he finished.
"Emily?"
"fake"
"madison?"
"never happened"
"so what does this mean?" i asked him as he grabbed my hand.
"i need more than just a fake date from you jazzy"
"i need all of you"
