part 8 !

aurora got up from her bed due to her alarm blaring. she rubbed her eyes before groaning. it was the start of the week again and aurora was absolutely dreading it. besides the three friends she made she absolutely hated everything about school. everyone there had made her feel so miserable.

school was such a draining place for her. aurora had seen the teachers more then she saw her literal family. she had always tried her best in school to make her dad happy but it was exhausting. it was just work piled on top of each other. it felt inhumane to be working teens this hard. especially for stuff that wouldn't even help her in her future.

she pulled herself out of bed snd picked out an outfit before she could get in the shower. she picked out a pair of camo pants and a green shirt to match it. she also had black shoes to pair with them. she placed them on her bathroom counter so she could put it on when she got out of the shower.

she started playing her playlist and got in the shower. after 20 minutes she got out and put on her clothes. she had looked at it convincing herself it was a good outfit. well at least good enough to show up in school with it on.

aurora had looked at her hair and let out the loudest sigh. aurora loved her hair, she actually thought it was pretty. she just absolutely hated doing it and taking care of it. maintaining it was the absolute worst part of all of it. she managed to put her hair into a half up half down for the day.

she walked downstairs and saw her brother in the kitchen. "rory? why is the top half of your body floating?" her brother joked seeing her camo pants on. "lame ass joke" rory responded even though she did laugh. she had look through he fridge for something to eat for breakfast. she couldn't find anything so she was just gonna wait and get something for lunch.

aurora had left her house and started walking to school. she had her airpods stuffed in her ear not paying much attention to her surroundings. when she finally made it to the school she had saw harlyn in the parking lot so she walked over to the girl. "hi roryy" harlyn chimed when she spotted the girl. she brought her into a hug which aurora returned. harlyn was normally bubbly and cheery even in the morning.

aurora had went through her first period alone due to not having anyone in there with her. but she made it to her second period which she did have with harlyn. "i don't know what you did to jalil but you need to fix him. he has an attitude because he thinks you hate him or something." harlyn explained to aurora confusing her. why would he think that of all things? if anything it was the exact opposite.

"what? why would he think that" aurora questioned making harlyn shrug her shoulders. "something about you ignoring him and not answering his texts" she told him making her face drop. she had totally forgot to take her phone off of do not disturb last night.

"shit i totally forgot to look at my notifications last night" she pulled her phone out of her pocket to see all of the messages she missed for jalil.
