aurora had been up for at most ten minutes doing nothing but trying to fall back asleep. she knew nobody was gonna be awake soon since everyone got up way later in the day then she did. she grabbed her phone from the night stand and checked the time. it read 8:20 and she decided she would get up. she slowly got up from her bed making sure she wouldn't wake anybody up.

she picked out clothes from her suitcase and took them to the bathroom so she could take a shower. she had got in and decided not to play any music so she wouldn't wake anyone. she had bathed her body before getting out and putting her clothes on. she had done her morning routine and did her hair

she put her hair in two spacebuns and put on her clothes. she wore a pink crop top with cargo jeans and she had on triple pink dunks. she had walked out the bathroom and sat on a chair contemplating if she wanted to leave the hotel room or not. aurora hadn't really had any time to herself lately due to either being around harlyn and jalil or being at school. not that she didn't enjoy spending time with them she just needed her space sometimes. and now just felt perfect to her.

she had grabbed a room key before quickly leaving. she was going to walk to a random outlet that had a variety of different stores and food places. it was only a ten minute walk so it shouldn't be horrible. it probably wasn't the best idea to leave without telling anyone but they had her location. she just needed to spend some time alone. it was a big change for her to go from being by herself all the time to being around people 24/7

she had put a airpod in as she walked down the sidewalk. the sun was rising and the sky was changing different colors which grabbed auroras attention. 'moon river' by frank ocean started playing as she felt the breeze hit her face. finally being able to think to herself felt so good to her. she loved being alone sometimes. just being able to do things without somebody else felt peaceful to her.

she had finally arrived to the outlet and looked around to see the different places she could go into. she saw a smoothie shop and decided to go in there considering she hadn't ate breakfast. there wasn't many people in the store as it was early in the morning. aurora had hopped in the short line only having two people in front of her.

she had ordered and waited for them to call the number on her receipt. she had seated herself at a table scrolling through tiktok as more people entered the store. when they finally called her number she got up to go get it. she grabbed and brought it back to her seat.

she nodded her head in approval after her first bite before continuing to eat it. she continued watching tiktok's until a edit came up on her for you page of her and jalil. it was a video of them from a old live with the song 'while we're young' by jhene aiko playing in the background. it made her smile looking at the video as she continued to like and favorite it.

she finished the bowl and exited the shop deciding if she wanted to go back to the hotel or go to another store. she looked around the outlet and saw a target which instantly gave her an answer. she walked over to the target and grabbed a basket. she walked down aisle after aisle even though she didn't necessarily need anything. then she got to her favorite aisle the snack aisle.

she had instantly grabbed some takis and gummy skittles as those were her favorite snacks. she looked around and saw sour patch watermelons which was jalils favorite candy. she smiled to herself before picking it up and putting it into the basket. she also got a rootbeer and a blue gatorade for jalil. as she walked down to the candles aisle she got a facetime call from jalil.

"lil girl where the fuck are you at?" he asked groggily making aurora slightly laugh. "in my skin" she responded joking making the boy kiss his teeth.

"im being deadass" he stated blankly as he finally put his face in the camera. it was pretty clear that he had just woken up and aurora thought he looked cute. "i am too" he had deadpanned her which made her laugh before she actually told him where she was at.
