it was the next day and auroras brother had finally came back from his girlfriends house. he was now in the girls room bombarding her with questions about who she was hanging out with yesterday. "aurora what are you doing hanging out with them" she was beyond confused on why he was so curious about this. she knew they were famous but she didn't think it was that serious."they're my friends duhh" she told him with a smile on her face. her brother was happy she had finally started making friends. he just didn't know how she managed to be friends with all of them. "how are you friends with them. especially jalil" he asked putting emphasis on the last part. "uhh cause im smart pretty amazing. i could honestly go on" she reminded him.
"and you were like on the same basketball team as jalil. why is this such a big deal" she wondered confused why he was making a big deal out of this. "i just didn't expect you to be friends with them. you did your big one though" he hyped her up making her laugh. her brother had left her room leaving her in there on her own. shortly after she had got a facetime call from jalil.
recently her and jalil had been talking a lot in school and outside of school. he would call her and text her all the time and so would she. after she got home from the mall she had called him and the two were on the phone for the rest of night just talking to each other.
this was auroras first time experiencing an actual friendship and it was such a great feeling. she had someone that was always available to talk to her. even when he was busy playing basketball he had still made time to answer her text. when they were in school he would still play imessage games with her. he had even introduced her to his family over the phone. she was grateful to have a friend like jalil.
she answered the facetime call to see him on the game. "hey roryyyy" he dragged out not looking away from his tv screen. "hi jalillll" she responded matching his energy. she had looked at how focused he was on the game which was funny to her because she was the exact same way when she was on the game. she had took a screenshot of him which got his attention. he raised his middle finger at her which she returned.
she had looked at the time and she decided she needed to get ready to go to the fair. she got up from her bed and walked over to the closet to choose an outfit. she had picked out two outfits she couldn't decide between. "which one should i wear" she turned her camera to show jalil so he could see the clothes laid out on her bed.
"uhh the first one" it was a pink crop top and some jean shorts. she put the other outfit back in the closet and went into her bathroom to change. when she put on her outfit she turned her camera on propping up her phone to show jalil. "ooo girl give us a 360" he hyped her up making her smiles. she turned around showing him the whole outfit. when she put her face back in the camera jalil had took a screenshot making her quickly get out the frame.
"get yo ass back in the camera" he told her joking making her laugh. she had put her hair in a slick back making sure it was done neatly. when it was finished she put her face in the camera giving a thumbs up. "you look pretty" he complimented catching her off guard. her face had heated up as she said thank you.
she walked over to her brothers room to waste time as she was bored and still had time before she was going to leave. before she went in she told jalil to be quiet so her brother wouldn't say anything about them being on the phone.
she walked in sitting in his gaming chair not saying anything. "what you dressed up for lil girl" he asked seeing her outfit. "i'm going to the fair i look pretty don't i" she boasted looking at herself in his mirror. "no i was thinking more ursala vibes" he joked making her deadpan him. she had threw a random ball that was sitting on his desk.
