kingston - jalil bethea (on pause)

- part 15 !

it was early in the morning and aurora had just got up for a date she had with jalil. she didn't exactly know what they were doing yet but he did tell her it was going to be early in the morning which she wasn't mad about. she wore camo pants and a black crop top. she  had decided to wear her hair out today and put extra effort with how she looked today.

she had left the bathroom to see jalil sitting on the bed waiting for her. "are you ready to go?" he asked making her nod her head. he got up and got the room key card before they could go. they quietly left the room mindful of the two people who were still sleeping in the hotel room.

cam had let him use a car so they could drive around. "are you gonna tell me where we're going now" she spoke looking at the boy driving. "you're gonna see soonnn" he reminded her trying to stall until the got there. he wanted it to be a surprise.

they had played music in the car singing along to the lyrics. they had stopped at chick fil a before they arrived at a park. "give me five minutes alright" he asked making aurora nod her head. he got out the car and opened the trunk to get something. she had tried to look at what he was setting up but it was to far for her to see.

a couple minutes had went by and he came back to the car. he had came to open the door for her letting her out making a smile appear on her face. he wrapped and arm around her shoulder walking over to what he set up. she had looked to see he had set up a picnic date with her favorite food and snacks. she had seen paint and canvasses with paint brushes. she felt her heart warm up looking at the boy.

"i don't know what to say. it's honestly perfect" she told him in disbelief. "i tried. i knew this was your favorite food and you said you liked sunrises more than sunsets because you barely see them so" he rambled nervously looking at the girl with a cheesy smile plastered on his face.

"you remembered that?" he had nodded his head making her smile. "thank you lill" she squealed giving the boy a hug. "well are we just gonna stand here or are we gonna eat. kinda hungry" he spoke making her laugh before they walked over to the blanket he set out. the two had watched the sunrise together, eating and talking amongst each other. they reminisced on old memories they shared with each other

"jalil i'm really grateful i met you" she blurted out randomly catching jalil off guard at the sentimental compliment. "i mean you really were the first person to get to know me. i don't know why you decided to do that but i'm really grateful you did" she expressed making jalils heart warm up and a smile appear on his face.

"i'm grateful i met you to rory" he responded. "i mean honestly rory when im around you nothing else really matters. my world stops when im with you" he explained to her making the girl feel kind of warm inside. she could feel her stomach doing flips whenever she was with jalil.

they decided to paint their canvas because they finished all of their food. it was a hand print painting so aurora had put pink paint on her hand. "oopsss" she said as she slightly grazed paint on jalils face. she had laughed at his shocked expression on his face as he had paint on one side of his cheek. jalil had put red paint on one of his hands before rubbing it on her cheek. "finger slipped!"

the two had kept going back and fourth before they both had paint all ofver there face. "we look stupid" she giggle seeing their faces in her camera. "at least we look stupid together" he told her looking kn the bright side of things. "now let's actually do this painting"

she had put the paint on her hand again before pressing it onto the canvas. jalil had repeated the same thing after aurora had painted a heart in the middle. they had repeated the same thing on another canvas putting a heart in the middle again. aurora had put the date on the bottom of the canvas and both of their names. "they look cute!" she gleamed looking down at the painting.
