aurora had gotten up early for school today since it was the last day. it was definitely going to be a day filled with mixed emotions. but she got up early so she could surprise jalil with a bunch of gifts since it's his last day of high school. she was doing her hair and she had done two low buns. she put on jorts with a white crop top and new balances.

she left her bathroom after she finished getting ready and grabbed her book bag. she left her room and walked downstairs. she grabbed her car keys and just figured she'd order breakfast on the way to school. she walked out of the door and into her car, she started it and connected her phone to the bluetooth playing music.

she had left her driveway and made her way to the target. due to how early it was she got to see the sunrise from her car. aurora had admired all of the colors in the sky and how they perfectly blended with each other. aurora had always loved both sunrises and sunsets, but she loved sunrises more. she didn't see them as often as she saw sunsets so she cherished them more.

she made it to the target and walked in to the fairly empty store. since it was so early it wasn't as crowed as it normally was. she could only see a handful of people who had just walked in. aurora had first walked to the snacks aisle and got him a bunchh of food. after that she got him a gift card and a new controller. she checked out and walked back to her car. since there was a dicks sporting goods near the target she decided to go in there and make him a basketball basket.

she walked over to the store and entered hoping to be quick so she would make it in time to get jalil. she quickly walked over to the basketball section hoping to find something good. she got him a new basketball, socks, a gatorade bottle, and new shorts. she was gonna leave but before she did she saw basketball shoes she knew he wanted and she didn't wanna leave without them. she had quickly grabbed them not giving herself time to second guess it and walked to check out.

she was at the check out until she heard somebody talking to her. "your getting this stuff for your boyfriend?" a women who looked well into her twenties asked grabbing auroras attention. "yeah, how'd you know?" aurora answered curious to how she made such a lucky guess. "your lock screen " she pointed out as aurora remembered she set it as a picture of her in jalil when they were in oklahoma when he asked her out. she looked at it making a faint smile rest on her face. "oh yeah, that's my baby for real" she told the woman making her look at the girl in awe.

"that's so sweet. me and my fiancé got together in high school. we're getting married in six months" she exclaimed excitedly showing off her ring. aurora smiled wide eyed looking at the rind in the womans finger. "congratulations!" aurora spoke happy for her. "thank you! best of luck to you and your boyfriend. i hope you guys gets your happy ever after" the women told her before walking away. the interaction had warmed auroras heart. she had really hoped that that would the future for her and jalil.

she checked out her stuff and walked back to her car. she put all the stuff in her basket before making her way over to jalils house. she was excited to give jalil the stuff as he was such a giver and she wanted to return the favor. aurora showed her love in other ways but she just wanted to make sure he felt appreciated.

she pulled into his driveway before grabbing the stuff and leaving the car. she walked to his door before knocking on it waiting for a response. she had sat outside for a moment before somebody answered. jalil answered the door looking at the girl confused unaware she was coming to get him then saw the baskets in her hands. "rory you did this" he asked surprised making her smile. she nodded her head as he took them from her hands.

he had looked at all the stuff in the basket making shocked faces seeing all the stuff aurora got. aurora had noticed his wife small as he looked through his stuff. he had finally got to the shoes which aurora was most excited to see his reaction for. he had opened the shoe box and his face had immediately dropped looking at his girlfriend. "no actual way you bought this" he exclaimed shocked. "what can i say"
