Alana watched as the servants brought food to the table, Alana sat in Alicent's chambers with Helaena, both of them in their own thoughts.

After Alana break her fast with Alicent and Helaena, she'd meet Aegon in the Godswood. Cregan sent her letter again, but this time he was going to the wall, Alana had only been to the wall once but it was not place for a woman as her father had said once.

The sunlight streamed into the Queen's chambers, casting a warm glow in the room. There was a large bed on the side of the room, with carvings of the faith of the seven littered around the room. The blankets on the bed were green, matching Alicent's dresses.

Helaena wore a light blue dress, her hair was down her silver hair cascading down her shoulders. Alana wore her hair like Helaena's but Alana's dress was a dusty yellow off the shoulder.

"How is the King? Is he feeling any better?" Alana looked at Alicent as she sipped on her wine that she drank only whenever she was needed to be presentable to look more formal.

"He is a well." Alicent nodded picking at the skin around her nail under the table. "Nought is to be worried about tho." Alicent gave Alana a wry smile.

"Oh, that is good..." Alana nodded, noticing Alicent's wry smile. Alana grabbed her wine and drank it.

Helaena sat in silence, playing with her food speaking riddles to herself.

Alicent looked at Helaena, Alicent furrowed her eyebrows but then looked back at Alana. "How are you and Aegon?" Her voice was soft but demanding.

Alana placed her goblet down, surprised by the question. "Oh. We're good."

Alicent nodded, sipping on her tea. She was about to question Alana as to why she wasn't with child yet just like her father asked her too but Helaena was there, and the conversation was a private one.

"Ah, have you seen what Helaena embroidered for me?" Alicent put down her tea.

"No I haven't." Alana put down her goblet of wine on the table, glancing at Helaena who now ate her food.

Alicent requested her maid to bring over the embroidery piece, Alicent held it up, "It's a canvas of faith of the seven symbol, It is gorgeous don't you think?"

Alana chuckled and nodded. "That is very good Helaena." Alana smiled, to which Helaena smiled back happy of her work.

"Aegon seems to be drinking less, and seems in better spirit in these months you've been here." Alicent grabbed her cup of tea, sipping it.

"Has he? I didn't notice." Alana smiled to herself, grabbing the cup of wine and sipping it to hide her blush on her cheeks.

Alicent smiled at the sight of Alana trying to hide her blush on her cheeks. "I was a girl once as well, before I was queen I fancied some men but that was until the King married me at about ten and five.." Alicent looked at her tea before speaking again. "Being Queen consort has many perks but there are also exceptions, burdens that come with."

Alana raised her eyebrow as to why the Queen was telling her about being Queen. Rhaenyra was to be the Queen after the King dies. So why was Alicent telling her about what Queens have to endure? But Alana didn't question her about it, thinking nothing of it.

Alana nodded, looking down at her goblet awkwardly before Helaena stood up. "I think I shall take my leave now." Helaena spoke.

Alicent sent Helaena a smile, "Of course."

Helaena set a nod to Alicent, smiling at Alana before she took her leave, the door clinking as she shut it.

"I think I shall take my leave as well." Alana stood up, "Aegon is probably waiting for me in the Godswood." Alana curtsied at Alicent.

"Oh?" Alicent raised her eyebrow, the Godswood is the last place she thought her son would be. "All right then."

Alana smiled and walked to the door, opening the door . "Thank you." Alicent suddenly spoke, looking down at her bloodied cuticles.

Alana looked back at Alicent, a confused look on her face "For what my Queen?"

"Aegon, he seems more happier than he has ever been, perhaps it is my fault as to why he's not happy." Alicent looked back up at Alana. "But thank you" Alicent gave Alana a smile.

Alana didn't know what she meant by it was her fault as to why Aegon wasn't happy. Alana gave Alicent a smile, "Thank you for breaking my fast with you and Helaena." Alana smiled before leaving the Queens chambers.
