Nezuko's P.O.V.

It's been three days since Tomioka and I started heading back to Urokodaki's we should be there in a few hours.

We didn't encounter any problems on our way back, which I'm happy about. After the Final Selection, I was tired out. I slept the majority of the journey. Tomioka didn't seem to mind, he understands that the Final Selection is tiring even if I'm a demon.

When I was awake we made small talk. He asked how my Final Selection went and asked me some things concerning my past. I didn't give everything away when I talked about the Final Selection. I wanted my abilities to be secret for now. I want to see people's reactions when they see me fight. When we talked about my past, he asked if there were demons, that started a conversation about my world's history. I told him there were no demons, but that our main enemy were humans themselves. He was shocked when I told him this.

I figured the best thing to start with was to explain I came from America and that there were other countries. I then started explaining American History the best I could from what I learned. I made sure to tell him that I didn't know the other side/other country's side of the story when it came to wars and things. I love America don't get me wrong, but you also need to try to sympathize with the citizens of other countries. We all have lost people in the wars. I honestly think we could have tried to talk out certain things without resorting to violence, but sometimes force is the only way to go. However, talking it out is always going to be my first choice.

The things I told him shocked him. It was ultimately a culture shock basically. He understood where America was coming from and also tried to see it from other countries' views as well. I told him in a way not for him to agree with me but so he could make up his own decision. I wish I had history books from all over the world from my world with me (translated into English, obviously) so I could translate them into Japanese for him so he could read.

We eventually made it to Urokodaki's house just as the sun had gone down. Tomioka set my basket down and I got out. When we came into range, Tanjiro had opened the door and looked in our direction.

"Nezuko!" Tanjiro yelled.

"Tanjiro!" I yelled back.

We both started running toward each other and hugged when we got close enough. We held each other for a few minutes. Tanjiro was crying.

"I'm so glad that you're back. I was so nervous for you." Tanjiro said while crying.

"I told you I'd be okay, big brother. I'm a demon. It takes a lot to take us down." I told him as tears came to my eyes. I don't even know why I was crying. Maybe the relief of seeing my brother okay, knowing I was strong enough to pass the Final Selection, or seeing my brother cry. Either way, I was happy to be with my brother again.

All of a sudden I feel another set of arms wrap around us.

"You came back to me alive, both of you," Urokodaki said.

After we separated I looked over to where Tomioka was standing looking a little uncomfortable. I went over to him and hugged him. He was shocked at first but hugged me back.

"Thank you, Tomioka. For taking me to and from the Final Selection. And for bringing both my brother and me to Urokodaki-sensei in the first place. You have my gratitude. If there is ever anything you need, just let me know." I told him after I let him go.

"You're welcome, Nezuko," he said and I smiled at him.

"Would you like to stay for a bit?" I asked.

"Thank you for the offer, but I should really start heading to the Swordsman Village," he told me. I knew that he had to meet one of the Kakushi to get there. He'll probably send his Kasaugai Crow to ask if one is available.

"Alright be careful. Oh, when you get there, can you tell Erza I said hi?" I asked him.

"Of course. Tanjiro, it's good to see that you are healing well. Urokodaki-sensei, it's always good to see you. I would stay for a bit but I need to get Nezuko's ore and things to the Swordsman Village." Tomioka told Urokodaki.

"Quite alright, Giyu. Have a safe trip, and keep in touch." Urokodaki told him.

"Of course. I will leave this with you and take my leave. Take care." Tomioka said as he gestured to the basket beside him and then he was off.

"Take care as well." we all said together as we waved goodbye.

"Oh almost forgot," I said.

"Kuro!" I called then whistled. Kuro then came flying toward the three of us and landed on my shoulder.

"Kuro, this is my brother, Tanjiro, and my sensei, Urokodaki," I told Kuro and pointed to each of them.

"Tanjiro, Urokodaki-sensei, this is Kuro." I told them as I petted Kuro's chest.

"Nice to meet you Kuro." they greeted.

"Hello," Kuro cawed.

"Alright you two, let's go inside to have some dinner so that we can catch up," Urokodaki said. We then started to head inside.

"Urokodaki-sensei, is Kuro allowed inside?" I asked as I followed.

"Yes, I don't mind," Urokodaki said.

"Thank you. Kuro my brother and Urokodaki both have Kasugai Crows. Think you can get along?" I asked as we got inside.

"I suppose," Kuro said.

"Thank you," I said and scratched underneath his head.
