"You sure you want to go in?" The nurse asked, as Guinevere took a deep breath in.
"Yeah..." She nodded.
"I'm sure she'll be very happy to see you..."
"Mhm..."
"There's an entire story that you don't know, she's said things to other people that she just doesn't want to hurt you with."
"Yep..."
The nurse let her into the room. Natalie laid there, hooked up to more tubes than she'd been the day before. A thinner tube ran into her forearm, with another tube connecting her finger to a heart rate monitor. She had a smile on her face, but everything else just seemed limp.
"Well well! It's Sport and my girlfriend, what's going on here? CHEATING, Sport?"
"Now isn't the time for jokes, Natalie!"
"Cheating on you with your sister, LLL, imagine. Must suck."
"I can joke all I want, Sport! I've accepted that I'm gonna be here a while, I'll use these charity dollars keeping me here as well as I can."
"Not funny!"
"Hey, Sport, come over here." Natalie smiled. "Yep, right here, come on. These blood bags are keeping my blood fresh right now. I killed so many noobs in Skywars that their blood is being used to feed me. That monitors my heartbeat and my fluids, this IV gets me what I need."
"You shouldn't need to be hooked up to all this stuff... why won't you just take the chemo..."
"Chemotherapy would be awful, and there's no guarantee of it working. I'm not suffering right now, Sport."
"Natalie..."
"There was a 15% chance of it fighting the cancer, okay?"
"That's a 15% chance you'll get out of here!!"
"It hurt a lot more, Sport, when I was out there getting all banged up."
"The most tragic part about all of this, the banks will never process your college loans."
"HAHA! Yeah, if I die, I'd better be open casket. Let the world see the face one more time."
"Natalie's just gonna have her face engraved on the front of her headstone."
"REALLL- tell my stream donors their money will be used well, to support my ego!"
"The only appropriate way to spend their money."
"Yooo, crack that window for me, PLEASE! It's blazing in here, gosh."
"Natalie couldn't open a window before on her own, now she really can't."
"WHAT- ARE YOU INSULTING MY MUSCLES, SPORT??"
"Meow :33"
"Hmph. This is bullying... bullying against Natalie."
"We are not bullying you, hmph."
"Agreed."
"BULLYING A CANCER PATIENT! WAHHH- come here, SPORT."
"Nope! No no get your hands off mee!"
"NEVER! RAGHHH-"
"Your little t-rex arms can't hurt meee heheheh..."
"Oh, nothing is gonna hurt you, Sport! Nothing could ever possibly hurt you." She roughed up her sister's hair.
"Reaaal, I'm like the strongest here."
"Right. Heheh... always told to show and not tell, this was better than any last words I could've given. Weeee-" She put her head back against the pillow, as her heart rate monitor let out a steady beep.
"Oh dear... oh- no..."
