Avika glanced over Anirudh who was busy working in his laptop from last few minutes. She was still in his room and it was almost 3am when he received an important call and went to his laptop.

Avika slides her finger through her hair trying to style them. She looked over the mirror, her dress which she wore for the evening was now wrinkled and her face and body was dull. She needed the shower so badly.

She smiled remembering their last conversation. He was finally ready to give their marriage a chance, a chance to her. She was literally screaming in her mind right now. She decided to stay in his room for tonight and leave in early morning.

Avika looked over Anirudh, who was sitting over bed with his back on headboard, his fingers busy in keyboard of laptop. "Can I borrow any of your shirt ? I need to change". She said softly not wanting to disturb him. He turned his attention toward her, his eyes finally resting upon her and he smiled lightly. He nodded and walked up to the closet.

"You favourite one actually". she added just when he was about to rummage through closet, his hand stopping in midway. He turned his neck and looked over her through his shoulder.

"I never really had any favourite. But now which ever shirt of mine you will wear will be my favourite."
Avika's heart skipped it beat, a blush creeping up to her cheek. She shyly nodded while he pulled out the option. She walked over, a grateful smile spreading over her face. She picked one of the shirt and walked to bathroom. "I will take the shower". She said and closed the door of bathroom behind her.

Anirudh sat on the edge of the bed, lost in thought. The sound of the bathroom door creaking open pulled him back to the present. He glanced up, prepared to dismiss whatever lay ahead with his usual detachment. But when he saw Avika, everything changed in an instant.

Fresh from the shower, her damp hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she wore nothing but his oversized shirt. It hung loosely on her petite frame, the hem skimming her thighs, and the top few buttons were undone, revealing a hint of the smooth skin beneath.

A rush of emotions, foreign and unsettling, surged through him. She looked effortlessly beautiful, almost ethereal, and seeing her in his shirt-a piece of him-felt profoundly intimate. It was as if she belonged there, with him, wrapped in his world, and the realization both thrilled and terrified him.

He watched her as she moved with a quiet confidence, oblivious to the effect she had on him. The sight of her in his shirt was unexpectedly intimate.

Avika, aware of his gaze, paused. "What?" she asked, her tone challenging as if bracing for another one of his cutting remarks. Anirudh's jaw tightened, but he didn't look away. "Nothing," he replied, his voice betraying a hint of something softer, something unfamiliar.

"You look... different."

She raised an eyebrow, a mix of curiosity and defiance in her eyes. "Good different or bad different?"He stood up, closing the distance between them with slow, deliberate steps. His hand reached out, almost hesitantly, to brush a damp strand of hair behind her ear. "Good different," he murmured, his voice low.

She held her breath, sensing something different in his voice. His eyes no longer cold but held something more darker. She stepped closer and kept one of her hand over his chest smoothing the area. "So I do look good ?" She said, her voice a whisper. "Beyond good, beyond beautiful, beyond everything." He said while looking straight into her eyes.
