Naruto and Sasuke spent the rest of the day, as well as the next day, resting. This was mostly due to Mikoto, who was not happy due to the incident and wanted the boys to be healthy at all times.
So now, on the last day of training, Naruto and Sasuke have assembled at the training ground early in the morning, as they have much to catch up on.
This time, they were with Jiraiya of the Sanin, who was assigned by Fugaku to supervise them and prevent that incident from repeating again.Jiraiya, who had just returned from a long mission, was now appointed as a babysitter.
He looks at the boys who were sitting in front of him and says, 'I've heard much has happened since I was gone.'
'You heard right' Naruto confirms the Sanin's suspicions.
'We both started training. We managed to master tree-walking and were about to master water-walking as well, but we drowned. Sasuke mastered the clone jutsu, but I could not. Lastly, you already heard from Papa about my Kyubi chakra and his sharingan', he further summarizes.
'That's a lot of trouble for humans this small', Jiraiya teases, causing both the blonde and the raven to frown.
'Enough chit-chat. Let's get on with training. I take it you want to master the water walking first?'

The sun was setting, and splashes of water could be heard.
After a whole day of practice, Naruto and Sasuke managed to master water-walking. Now they could not only walk but also run on water with ease.'Well done; you both have talent, no doubt', Jiraiya says to the boys, who were lying on the ground, enjoying their well-earned rest.
'This would've been so much easier with my sharingan' Sasuke complains.
'It would. But Papa has strictly restricted you from using the sharingan and me from trying to gain access to Kyubi's chakra from now on. We don't have control yet; who knows what will happen', Naruto explains.
'He's right', Jiraiya says to Sasuke, who nods in acceptance of the fact.
'Sasuke, I'm not sure if you realise you're done with your training. You can go if you want', Naruto points out.
'Nah, I'll stay with you. Who knows, you might start missing your beloved brother' Sasuke declines Naruto's offer.
Naruto just lightly scowled in reply.

Naruto's POV
After we mastered master walking, I told Jiraiya-sama about the problem I was facing with the clone jutsu.
'Oh that! You'd never be able to master it anyway', Jiraiya-sama replies, leaving me stunned.
'What? Why? Is it due to the nine-tail chakra? Sasuke asks, who's just as shocked as I am.
'Partially, not only due to the Kyubi, but also due to him having Uzumaki blood in him. Naruto possesses about four times more chakra than regular shinobi, and if we take into account Kyubi's chakra, it is probably 100 times more', Jiraiya-sama explains.
'I do remember reading it in one of my books. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the connection', I sigh.
This made me remember my precious books. Oh, how I miss them. I haven't gotten the chance to leisurely enjoy them ever since we started training.
