chapter 3- shopping together

After meeting with our new neighbours I called my bestie Richa and told her everything and yeah! She freaked out as I expected her to be 😂

In evening......

Mrs Malhotra: sweety actually when I went shopping I forgot some things to bring, so can you go and bring those things, please do it and I'll make your favourite food.

Aashi: okay mom, I'll go. Just give a list.

Here..... My mom gave me a list, I picked my phone and wallet and went outside. And I saw Mr Aryan looking at his phone like he's searching something.

Aashi: Hello Mr Aryan.... What're you doing in middle of the road?

Aryan: actually I'm looking for a departmental store, I need to bring some items and because I'm not familiar with the area I'm searching in phone.

Aashi: wanna go together?

(He looked at me with questioning eyes)

Aashi: actually I'm also going there ( I showed him my shoping list)

Aryan: O yes sure... Let's go

And then we entered our usual departmental store he was picking his goods and I was mine Until I saw Mrs Sharma with her daughter Nisha. She was coming towards Aryan. ( Here we go again... I mumbled beneath while rolling my eyes)

Hello Beta...she said coming towards Aryan

Hello mam.... do I know you (Aryan was confused )

No no dear we don't know each other I just saw you coming here are you from this neighborhood, never saw you before.

He nodded his head and said .... Yes we just shifted here

O that's why.... By the way are you married?

What? He asked little loudly but confused

I was standing a little distance away, enjoying the show, poor soul I said while hardly controlling my laugh which was about to brust.

Meet my daughter Nisha. She has done MBA and can cook well, look how beautiful she is, you will look perfect together. Match made in heaven.( Sharma aunty said non Stoply)

Aryan just stood there like a froze statue. Not able to understand whats happening with him, suddenly a lady came and give him a marriage proposal in a departmental store while her daughter was busy drooling over him. His facial expression was so funny that I couldn't stop myself and brust in laughter.

Okay Aashi.... Let's go and save poor soul... I said to myself and went towards them.

Aashi: Aaru... Are you done with your shopping let's go, Aunty making my favourite food and I wanna have her speciality ( I said looking towards him and grabbed his arm)

He looked at me with more confused face .... Play along with me if you wanna get out from here I wishpered in his ears.

Aryan: O yeah, I'm done let's go.

Do you know him Aashi (Mrs Sharma asked me) yes Aunty we're very close family friends (I said grabbing his arm even tighter and give her a fake smile) let's go Aaru...

Aryan: what the hell just happened there?

The moment we came outside I brust into laugh once again

Aashi: she is Mrs Sharma, she lives few blocks away from our neighbours well Mrs Sharma is obsessed with getting a handsome son in law so whenever she saw a good-looking man, she gives them marriage proposal to marry her daughter ( I explained him while laughing)
