Chapter 15 - New Bonds

I came early to the office today as I don't have much time, but I am almost done with my work. Just a matter of a few hours and I'll be done with my work here and tomorrow they can launch this perfume.

"Finally!!" I told myself as I inhale the marvelous fragrance. "I just hope that it works for them now". I informed Mr. Maheshwari that I have done my task and within a few minutes he was present in the lab along with Vikram sir and Mahi mam. They all inhaled the fragrance and their eyes were wide open.

"O my god Aashi, what have you created" Mahi mam asked with a surprised face. "Is there any problem mam" I asked being all confused. "No girl, you slayed" Mahi said with sparkling eyes. "She's right, Aashi! Creating a new fragrance out of nowhere within two days is not a joke, and not to mention this aroma" Vikram said while praising Aashi. "You have done an amazing job Aashi" suddenly out of nowhere Veer spoke. "You have created something beyond my imagination and it's better from what we had created earlier" Veer continued.

"Thank you sir, mam" Aashi said with a satisfying look as she got praised by all three seniors. " Thank you so much Aashi, you have saved us from humiliation" Veer said with a small smile. "Veer, as if now we have formula, I'll handle the production and Mahi will handle the paperwork and legal things, you just handle the press conference and Wilson's now" Vikram said gaining attention.

"One more thing guys" Veer said gaining everyone's attention. "Wilsons always hosts a party after launching a product, so as you can guess, me and Vikram are invited with our plus ones so" before Veer can complete Vikram interrupted him and said "so you better be ready this time Mahi, don't do drama like last time like not having a appropriate dress, if you wanna do shopping, do it today" Veer nodded his head agreeing with Vikram. Mahi looked in my direction with a pout and said "you will be also coming with me for shopping, right Aashi" and I looked at her with my frowned brows.

"Why do I need to go shopping" Aashi asked Mahi. "Because you're also coming with us ..... To the party..... Obvious" Mahi also said raising her eyebrows. "No mam, I can't! First of all it's a business party where you're invited and second what will I do there" Aashi said. "O come on Aashi, you can come with us as Veer's plus one and I really need you there because I can't trust these two men there, as soon as they will enter the venue, they will ditch me to talk with there business partners" Mahi said dramatically while glaring at Vikram and Veer. "No baby, I don't do that" Vikram said shaking his head in no. "Of course you do that, who ditches their fiance for business talk" Veer said with a dramatic face. "Why're you flaming the fire, you traitor" Vikram said while fake crying.

After seeing the bond of these three a chuckled escape from my lips and they all looked in my direction. "Please Aashi, come with us" Mahi said with pleading eyes. "Okay Mam, I'll come. Mahi immediately gave Aashi a bone crushing hug. "Thank youuuuu, let's go shopping now"Mahi held Aashi's hand and started dragging her. "Right now?" Aashi asked "yes, any problem" Mahi questioned. "It's still working hours" I replied. "Do you have any problem, Mr. CEO, if we leave now" Mahi gave a threatening look to Veer. "Not at all, you can leave now, we will handle the rest" Veer said with his both hands in the air giving*I surrender look*.

After that Mahi dragged me with her towards her car. When she started driving I asked her "So Mahi mam, you're engaged with Vikram sir?" I asked her. " Hmm... didn't you know already, I thought everyone in the office knows about it" she said while focusing on driving and giving me a small smile. "Yes I heard it From my team members" I said. "You tell Aashi, do you also have someone special" she said in a teasing tone. "Yes, I do have a boyfriend, he's in New York now" I said looking down and getting all shy. "O my god, someone's blushing hard. She again teased me.

"Okay so tell me about your love story, like how you guys met and when you fell in love, all of that" Mahi asked Aashi while her hands on cars wheel and eyes on the road. "So it started when" and I told her about me and Aryan. "O wow yaar, you really have an interesting love story, worth telling your grandchildren" as I Heard Mahi saying that, I couldn't control it and started laughing. "Enough about me mam, tell me about your and Vikram sir's story" I asked her and she gave me death glare. "First of all, stop calling me mam, you don't have to address me as mam just call me Mahi" Mahi said.
