Excitement is a small word for me right now. I walk through the main hallway of the building and reach the office. My office.

My name is written on the door on the golden name plate. Rose Francis.
I open the door and walk into it. I've been here alot of times but this time it's different. It's my office now.

I take in the familiar environment and I feel silly for giggling. My smile doesn't leave my face as I look at the desk. The desk I'd be working on.

My office is the same size as Devin's but the colour theme is different. His is more Black and gold and mine is more beige and brown just how I like it.

I walk around the table and sit on the chair, I giggle again. If someone sees me right now they would think I'm belong to an asylum. But whatever, it's my dream come true.

I look around at the stuff on the table, the colour samples, booklets of different gemstones. I can't wait to design my own jewellery. I have designed alot of things already but not for this collection.
My phone vibrates and it's a text from Devin.

My heart skips a beat
Calm Down, Rose.

I check his text.
"Come to my office"

Looks like the work has begun. Let's go.
I walk towards his office in my sleeveless gray dress, I knock on the door and open it.

"Sit" he says without looking up at me. I sit across from him.

"Have you talked to the designing team yet?" He asks and look at me.

"I have and I think we should hold a proper meeting to discuss about this new collection" I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear, I don't know why my heart beats so fast talking to him.

"Yeah, I thought about it too. Let's have a proper meeting with everyone" he rubs his temple. Oh,  so he has a headache. That's what you get from partying all night.

"I think we should hire an assistant, it's going to be helpful" I say.

"Yeah, I'll ask everyone to come to the meeting then" he says and I stand up to leave.

I walk out of his office and walk towards the kitchen. I quickly make a cup of coffee and put it on a tray along with some painkillers.

I walk back to his office and open the door. I place the tray in front of him. "What are you doing?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Have this before the meeting" I say.

"I didn't ask you for this." His jaw is clenched.

Great. I was wondering why weren't we arguing anyway.

"You have a headache, how do you plan to go through the meeting with your headache, huh?" I wrap my hands around my chest.

"That is not your problem." He says glaring at me.
