I can't stop smiling as I come back to my office. We didn't argue for the first time and actually agreed on something.
I didn't know it was even possible. I keep smiling as I start my work on my IPad.
My smile grows even more as I glance at my wedding ring with his name written underneath. I continue my designing.
After an hour or so, I stand up and leave my office. The meeting will start in an hour. Carlos and his wife haven't arrived yet.
I go into the meeting room and Sadie is there. Preparing for the meeting. I almost roll my eyes but I need to be professional, unfortunately.
I walk closer to the meeting table and just then I hear someone coming into the room. "Is everything ready?" Devin asks and I turn around to look at him.
"Everything's ready." Sadie says and he nods.
He then turns to me. "We have to attend the meeting..."
I nod. "Yeah..?"
"We have to..." he says and I realise what he's trying to say.
"We have to pretend again..?"
"Yeah.." he nods.
"Pretend what?" Sadie asks and this time I do roll my eyes. "Pretend like we're in love." I say to her.
I see her clenching her jaw slightly. The sight almost makes me smile.
"I think they're here." Devin says and we all walk towards the door. Carlos and Lauren are walking towards us.
After the greeting, the meeting starts. On the head of the table Devin is sitting, just beside him is where I'm sitting and across from me is Carlos and Lauren is sitting beside him.
Just besides me, Sadie is sitting. The meeting is going on pretty well. We haven't informed anyone about our idea of double collection, only him and I know.
"I'm glad that we've discussed almost everything now." Carlos said and I nod.
"We're going back to Spain tomorrow but we'll visit again on the New Year's Day." Lauren says. The collection will launch on the New Year's Day.
"It would be great if you both visit us in Spain. We'd love to show you around our company." She says and Carlos nods.
