By the time we come home it's late at night, we both carry all the bags inside and see them, they're all still sitting on the couch like we left.

Connor on the left side is cursing at the game, Jeremy is sitting on the right side laughing at him. Devin is sitting in the middle with his jaw clenched and eyes on the screen.

They all are still playing video game, Jeremy looks at Maria and smiles. "Hey, Ladies. You're back."

"Yes, we are." She says and go to sit beside him.

I look at the boy sitting beside him and he's looking at me, my heart skips a beat. The air between us is still thick with tension and frustration.

You are not supposed to care, Rose.

I look away and carry the shopping bags in my hands upstairs. I enter my room and walk into my closet, putting the bags on the ground. I feel someone entering behind me, I turn to look Maria walking inside, carrying the rest of the bags. "We spent a fortune." She laughs, placing the bags on the ground.

"Yeah.."
She looks at me. "What's wrong?"
I sigh and shake my head. "Nothing...it's just.... him..."

"Oh, baby..." She takes a step closer to me and hugs me. I hug her back and fight the urge to cry. "If you want then I can talk to Jeremy..."

I pull away a little to look at her. "No, no. Don't even think about it... Jeremy would tell him..."
"Okay, fine." She smiles. "I won't tell him."

I hear Jeremy calling her from downstairs and we both go back there again. Devin is still sitting on the couch still focused on his game with his jaw clenched.

While Connor and Jeremy are preparing to leave, "Let's go, Marie.." Jeremy says.

"Okay, I'm leaving." She hugs me. "And don't worry, okay? Everything will be fine." She whispers in my ear. I nod and watch as she walks to her boyfriend, they all make their way out and we're alone again.

The silence is so loud with tons of things that are still unspoken between us. I have so much to say but I keep quiet. I glance at him and he won't even look at me, his eyes are fixed on the game and he has a scowl on his face as if he's frustrated at the game or maybe at something else.

I sigh and go back upstairs into my room, I go into the bathroom and as I take my shower I can't help but think about him.

What will happen with us? Will everything going to end after the remaining ten months, he will go back to living the way he used to and I will keep on loving his silently? Or maybe...
