Meredith's POV

"We need to talk to you two about Stacy and Stella Franklin's murders." Emily says while we sat in the conference room.

"Cordelia, can you tell us what happened? Audrina made sure that we took this case because of what happened when you tried to talk the last time." JJ explains to Cordelia.

"I was five when it happened. Stacy and her daughter Stella were staying with Matthew and I. I was in the cage as usual while the others were watching television. Stacy yelled at Matthew because I was in the cage. She threatened to call the police and he did not like that, so he killed Stella first by smothering her with a pillow. After she died he killed Stacy by stabbing her multiple times in her neck. When he was finished, he raped their dead bodies before burying them in the backyard." Cordelia signs while tears were falling down her face.

"Audrina got the cop that didn't let you use your notebook fired because that's discrimination. But now we can put him away for accessory after the fact because he didn't let you use the tools to help the police lock Mathew up." Emily explains to Cordelia.

"He also killed a baby boy in front of me when I two. His mother was named Zoey Rooney and she was a prostitute that Matthew hired, but she had to bring her son Peter with her. Peter was crying because he was sick and Zoey overdosed on drugs so she couldn't help him. Matthew came out and used a pillow to strangle him. I remember thinking that he looked like he was asleep. Am I going to jail for not saying anything?" Cordelia signs while I wiped the tears out of her eyes.

"No you're not going to jail because you were scared of Matthew and what he'd do to you. You can go now Cordelia because we have all we need." JJ tells her and Cordelia leaves the conference room.

"Matthew won't ever get out of prison. We're putting him in a maximum security prison with people who hate child abusers." Emily tells me.

"Good. He deserves to die at their hands."

Cordelia's POV

Walking around the hospital, I noticed a room that held a man around Matthew's age all alone so I decided to enter the room.

"Hey kid. You lost?" The man asks me.

"No. My mommies work here so I know exactly where I am. My name is Cordelia Elise Grey-Forbes Montgomery and I am ten."

"Denny Duquette and I'm thirty-six. I'm here to get a new heart." Denny tells me when Auntie Mandy, Alex, Claire, George and Izzie all entered the room.

"Denny Duquette." Auntie Mandy tells him before giving me a smile.

"Hey Dr. Bailey." Denny says.

"I hope seeing you here means that they finally found you a heart." Auntie Mandy tells Denny who smiles at her.

"No offence doctor but I'm not a big fan of hospitals. It takes something pretty special to get me in here." Denny says.

"What do we know about Mr. Duquette?" Auntie Mandy asks Izzie and Claire.

"Denny has viral-cardiomyopathy and that means his heart cannot fill and pump blood normally." Claire says when Denny winks at her.

"Capricorn, single, loves to travel and cook." Denny tells Claire.

"Flattery but I'm married to a woman and you're a patient here." Claire tells Denny.

"Denny be quiet. Let Dr. Robbins and Dr. Stevens show off." Auntie Mandy says.

"Denny Duquette, thirty-six. Admitted today for a heart transplant necessitated by a viral-cardiomyopathy." Izzie says.

"Good. Denny these are Dr. Izzie Stevens and Dr. Claire Robbins. They'll be tending to your private surgery." Auntie Mandy tells him.

"So I guess I'll be seeing you around Dr. Robbins." Denny says before Claire playfully rolls her eyes at him and leaves with the others.

Addison's POV

My patient Rebecca "Bex" Singleton was drawing in her drawing pad while her parents were standing next to her. George entered the room and I give him a smile that he returned before facing the family.

"Hi. Mr. and Mrs. Singleton. Rebecca this is Dr. Addison Montgomery." George says and I shook Mary and John Singleton's hands.

"You don't think it's cancer, do you? Bex is too young for cancer right?" Mary asks me.

"Mrs. Singleton, I'm just getting up to speed. I'm sorry. Dr. O'Malley?"

"Rebecca has been admitted for-" George says.

"Could you stop calling me that? I prefer Bex." Bex tells George who nods.

"Bex has been admitted for an ultrasound-guided biopsy on an enlargement of the pelvic lymph node." George tells Bex.

"Okay Bex, you mind if I check it out?" Bex nods and her father leaves the room before I quickly examine her.

"It's a minor procedure Bex, but we'll give you a local anesthetic to manage the pain. I'll perform a biopsy this morning and Dr. O'Malley will have to take some blood so we can run some tests and then we can start to get you some answers. Ok? Mrs. Singleton there's no need to panic. I'll keep you posted every step of the way."

"Thank you." Mary says before I walk out of the room towards the elevators. Looking into one of the private rooms, I see Cordelia playing cards with a male patient and decide to enter instead.

"Angel who's you new friend?" Cordelia looks up at me and smiles, causing me to smile back.

"Mama, this is Denny Duquette and he is Preston's patient. Denny, this is one of my mommies Dr. Addison Montgomery." Cordelia signs, introducing us to each other.

"Nice to meet you Dr. Montgomery. Your daughter's good company." Denny tells me.

"Nice to meet you too and I'm glad she's good company."
