Cordelia's POV
Entering Denny's room, I see that his eyes are closed making me believe that he's asleep. So I sit down on the chair by his bedside and begin drinking my vanilla milkshake.
"Hi." Denny greeted me, causing me to jump back in surprise.
"Denny, I thought you were asleep." I signed to him.
"Nah, I don't sleep in hospitals. Scared I'll never wake up." Denny tells me when Claire enters the room and uses her my stethoscope out and check his heartbeat.
"Can I ask you something personal?" Denny asks her.
"Depends on what it is." Claire says before to the computer to put Denny's information in his virtual file.
"You really married?" Denny asks her.
"Yes I am. I don't date my patients Denny. Oh and please call me Claire. My sister also works here so to avoid confusion call me by my name." Claire tells Denny.
"Too bad because I would have won your heart." Denny says, causing Claire to smile.
"I'll be your friend Denny and that's it." Claire tells him.
"That's an offer I won't refuse Claire." Denny tells her with a smile when Izzie enters the room and gave me a glare.
"I thought I told you not to get near Denny again. Do you want to kill him like you killed Emily Russell?" Izzie asks me before tears welled up in my eyes and Claire pushes her away from me.
"She's allowed in here because I asked her to come. Call Cordelia horrible names again and I'll request a new doctor." Denny tells Izzie who storms off in response.

Meredith's POV
Addison sits down on my bed beside me and lays her head on my shoulder before grabbing a slice of pizza from the box.
"How was your day?"
"Long. How about you?" Addison says before eating some pizza.
"Visited my mom, talked to Emily and JJ and did some laundry. I used your laundry detergent to wash mine, Cordelia's and your clothes. Amelia, Arizona and Callie gave me their detergents for their clothes. George washed his and Alice's clothes last night."
"Cordelia made a friend with Preston's patient Denny Duquette. I met him and he absolutely adores Cordelia, even putting her on his list of visitors. You need to meet him soon and see for yourself." Addison says before kissing me and I kissed her back.
"I will meet him. I love you Addison."
"Love you too Mer." Addison says with a smile.
