Thanks to @grassyfield_ for editing this for me (:

This is me getting the backstory for an oc who the reader takes the place of in this oneshot.

Yes, the title is correct, I want to write for more 'non-main' characters more. I'll write for anyone, mostly, as long as we know at least something about them, and they're not just a victim for the sake of being a victim.

I have not played Turnabout Succession myself, so any facts concerning it are rough estimates (such as information regarding the accident that left Thalassa with amnesia.

This includes mentions of two of my ocs, who, in this, are the reader's daughters, but are the daughters of my new oc, Adelaide, who the reader is taking the place of.

Due to not knowing AJ;AA very well, I don't know much about the personalities of the characters mentioned in this oneshot, so they may be ooc.

Parts of this may not be accurate to the AJ:AA canon.

Written as if Thalassa wasn't shot during the practice, but another incident happened, leading her to disappear, leaving just her cape and hat.

I'm editing this so Phoenix isn't in Khura'in during 'The Magical Turnabout', also he knows the reader.

----------------------------

"You need to take a break! You've been overworking yourself Thalassa!" I shouted as she tried to get past me towards the stage.

"I'm the one who 'needs a break'? (Y/n), you have the twins to look after!"

"And Trucy needs you!" I grabbed her wrist, "This is an accident waiting to happen! I can't lose you!"

"You're not going to lose me... I've practiced so much, I-I can do this trick in my sleep...! It'll be fine—" Thalassa keeled over, putting her whole body weight on me. I brought my hand to her forehead, to feel that she was burning up.

"Come on, let's get you to bed," I spoke as I led her away, "I'll perform the trick in your place."

That's when I heard someone calling my name and I peered over my shoulder to see Zak running up to us, four-year-old Trucy toddling beside him, a hand grasped around one of his fingers.

"What happened?" he asked, his gaze flickering to the weak Thalassa.

"Someone," I glared at my sister, "Has been working herself sick, so I'm forcing her to rest and taking her place tonight."

His eyes widen before gently asking, "Anything I can do?"

"No, no," I replied, shaking my head.

"Well, actually, can you find Father and Valant and let them know of Thalassa's condition?"

Zak nodded, bustling away, Trucy giving her mother a worried look before following her father.

----------------------------

However.... Things didn't go as planned.

Somehow, someone swapped the prop pistols for the 'Quick-Draw Shootem' trick with real ones. Thankfully, I wasn't fatally shot as the bullet lodged in my shoulder.
