"Miss (L/n), if you don't tell me your side of the story, then it's going to make it very very hard for me to defend you and get you declared innocent. You have to talk."

I shook my head, "I'm sorry, Mr Justice, I can't. I-I physically can't! I already told you, I don't remember anything after entering the temple! I was knocked clean out by the real culprit!"

He sighed, "Okay. If you can't remember, that just makes the case a whole load harder, but I'm not going to give up on you, (Y/n). Don't worry. I'll do my best to defend you."

"Thank you so much, Mr Justice."

----------------------AFTER 2ND DAY OF TRIAL

"Miss (L/n)?"

I turned around, nervously as I knew from the voice who it was, and I didn't want to be questioned anymore, "Yes? What is it, Mr Prosecutor?"

Instead of saying anything, he just gave me a smile, "Come with me please."

"Why? Any questions you have for me can be asked in front of my defence attorney and his co-counsel," I replied, tapping my finger on my arm with a disappointed look on my face.

"I don't want to question you, Miss (L/n)... I-it's something unrelated to the trial."

I blinked in confusion but refused to move until I was forced to, Nahyuta grabbed my wrist and dragged me off against my will, causing me to pout, "Let me go!"

"No. This is what happens when you don't listen the first time!" he replied causing me to pout more as he dragged me off to one of the prosecutor lobbies, where he made me sit on the sofa beside him.. I tapped my foot, on the ground, arms folded and not looking at him.

"(Y/n), please look at me."

This caught me off guard as he'd never referred to me by my first name before and I turned to him, only for him to take my cheek in his hand and kiss me. I blinked several times, my eyes wide, and I kissed him back, wrapping my arms around his neck. I broke off and giggled, but before anything could be said, I heard my name, "Miss (L/n). We're to take you back to the Detention Centre now."

I nodded and stood up following the bailiff out of the room, and I was taken back to the Detention Centre.

-----------------------

"-There's more proof of the defendant's guilt. She-"

"HOLD IT!"

"Miss (L/n)! You are the defendant in this case, not the prosecutor! Please sit down and be-" The Judge started as a bailiff came and tried to hold me back. I just got out of his grip, however, and continued, "This is important, Your Honour. Please, I just remembered something!"

"Well, Prosecutor Sahdmadhi, Mr Justice, are you both alright with the defendant giving testimony?"

"It's alright with me, Your Honour," Mr Justice replied, giving me a slight glare... probably because I'd remembered it now, and not when he was talking to me before the trial started. Nahyuta just nodded, rolling up his prayer scroll again and taking it off the table. The bailiff stopped trying to wrestle with me and I walked up to the witness stand. Taking a deep breath, I recalled all the details I remembered.

-----------------------

Eventually the trial ended, and the minute I was pronounced 'Not Guilty', I walked up to Nahyuta and grabbed his prayer beads, using them to pull him down to my level and kiss him, "I didn't have time to respond yesterday, so, here's your payback. Now I know you're shocked but, even though I act like I hate you, I've had a crush you since I met you. It's called me a 'Tsundere'. Simon taught me it. I know you two get along really, really well... don't you? Now if you'll need me, I'll be at home," I smirked and booped him on the nose before letting go of his prayer beads and walking out of the courtroom, leaving him with a bright red face.
