Other notes: Reader is pansexual (Both Clay and Apollo know this), you did life with Clay until he and Apollo started dating, then you moved in with Klavier (cause he's my 3rd fav prosecutor (After Simon and Nahyuta, both of which would not have somewhere to live in Japanifornia atm))

I sighed rubbing my temples as I looked over the case file on my desk. That's when I heard a knock on the door and I put it down, "Come in."

I smiled when the door opened to reveal my brother and his boyfriend, "(Y/n)!" Clay shouted, running up and hugging me. I chuckled and returned the hug, "Heya, Bro. What brings you here?"

"We need to talk to you about something... If you have time that is," he replied, letting me go and returning to Apollo's side, taking his hand in his. I nodded, "Yeah. Don't worry I was just looking over an old case file. What did you need?" I asked motioning to the sofa situated in my office for the two of them to sit down.

"Well... We've been thinking, and we, Apollo and I, we want to have kids!" Clay spoke, causing me to choke on the cup of coffee I had taken a sip out of, "W-well, that's good, but how? Y'know..." I trailed off, not wanting to say it, "When are you going to adopt?"

Both of them looked at me and Apollo rubbed his spikes, "The thing is, we want to do it biologically... I know what you're implying, and that's why we came here. You see-"

"We want you to be the surrogate mother!" Clay shouted, interrupting Apollo, causing me to fall off my desk chair in shock, "W-what?!" I asked, confused as I stood up, "Me?"

"Y-yeah. There's no one we'd trust more (N/n)! Please?" Clay persisted, walking over and helping me up. I bit my lip, knowing what it would mean, and I wasn't unsure about it. Yes, I wanted my brother and Apollo to be happy, but I'd had the biggest crush on Apollo for ages and it had broken me when I'd found out they were dating. I sighed and nodded, "Sure. You're my brother, after all, I'd do anything for you," I muttered. Clay smiled and squeezed me in a tight hug, "Thank you thank you thank you!"

Apollo walked over as well and gave me a light hug after Clay let me go, "Thank you for this, (Y/n)."

And so, a few months later, I found out I was pregnant. In December, we went through the legal paperwork of the two of them having all legal rights to the child and for them to not know who their biological mother was until they were 18 if they so wished.

However, not 10 days later, disaster struck. The rocket that Clay and Mr Starbuck were supposed to go up into space in was blown up, and Clay was murdered. Something that shocked both Apollo and me, the two of us completely distraught. The day after the bombing, I made a decision and took a deep breath as I knocked on the door of Mr Edgeworth's office. I received permission to enter and I opened the door, "Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth, Sir, may I speak to you about something?"

"Yes, you may come in."

I muttered a small, 'thank you' and closed the door. As I walked up to his desk, I brought a hand up to the star-shaped locket around my neck, "I-I'll be taking a leave of absence."
