I took a deep breath and looked at the test, nearly collapsing on the bathroom floor when I saw the two lines on it, meaning I was pregnant. I sat down, leaning against the bath and softly started to cry to myself, not wanting to alert anyone that I was crying. Normally I would have been excited at this, but the problem was that Kazuma had been caught in an accident a few days ago and was left comatose, with no way to tell whether he would wake up again or not.

"(Y/n)? Are you okay in there?"

I froze at the sound of Ryuu's voice and took a deep breath, wiping my tears and standing up, opening the bathroom door, only to be immediately embraced in a hug, "Listen, (Y/n), you don't need to-"

"Just stop it, Ryuu. You have no idea what I'm going through right now!"

"I know you miss him (Y/n) but-"

"It's not just that!" I shouted, shocking him, "I'm pregnant with Kazuma's child and he's not here!" Ryuunosuke just blinked for a second, "You're pregnant?" I just rolled my eyes in response, "Yes, and now I'm going to have to raise this child alone!"

"He could still wake up, (Y/n). You never know, but," he paused and swallowed, "if he doesn't, then I'd happily help you raise them if that's okay with you. I don't want you to raise them alone."

I smiled, "Thanks, Ryuu. I appreciate it a lot, and I'd love it if you would help me if Kazuma doesn't wake up from his coma," I replied, giving him a hug, "I'm so glad to have a friend like you, Ryuu." I felt him tense a bit in the hug as he broke away, "Hehehe."

---------------ONE YEAR LATER

I was sitting on the sofa, enjoying the small amount of peace I got, Sakura being asleep upstairs with both Ryuu and Susato looking after her when I heard my phone ring. I sighed and reached into the pocket of my jumper taking it out and seeing that it was the hospital calling. I took a deep breath and answered, "Hello?"

"I'm looking for (Y/n) (L/n)."

"Speaking. What do you need?"

"I have news about Kazuma," the woman replied from the other side, a small hint of nerves in her voice. I gulped, "Yes? What is it?"

"He's woken up from his coma."

I gasped, and could feel the tears coming down my cheeks, "Thank you for telling me." and I hung up, walking upstairs, to the nursery where Ryuu and Susato were looking after Sakura, "Kazuma's woken up." Both their heads shot up, smiles appearing, with Susato being the first to speak, "Really? That's great! Can we go and see him?" I nodded, "I was just going to head over now." I then noticed that Ryuu hadn't said a word yet and turned to him, "Ryuu? You okay, Buddy?" He nodded silently and turned around, "I'm great, (Y/n)."

"You're crying. Why?" I asked, walking up to him, and going to place my hand on his shoulder, only to be swatted away, "Don't. I told you I'm fine." That was all he said before walking out of the room. I sighed and felt a hand on my shoulder, "(Y/n)?"

"I thought he'd be happy, Susato. He's Kazuma's best friend."

"I know, but I think his personal feelings are getting in the way of his happiness that Kazuma-Sama's awake."

I turned to her and blinked, "What do you mean, Susato?" She just smiled at me, "That's something for him to tell you himself (Y/n)."

I opened the door to Kazuma's hospital room, a smile on my face as I walked over to him, closing the door behind me, "Kazuma, it's good to see you're awake."

He blinked a couple of times, "Huh? What happened?"

"You got caught in an accident and it left you comatose. I'm so glad to see you're awake though!" I replied walking up to the side of his bed and sitting down on the chair beside it, "I've missed you so much, and I have news for you!"

"I-I'm sorry, do I know you?"

"Kazuma, it's me. (Y/n), your girlfriend?"

He shook his head in response, "I'm sorry I don't remember having a girlfriend at all."

This reply shattered my heart as I stood up and ran back out of the hospital, ignoring all the glances and the, 'Are you okay, Miss?'s, and ran back home, upstairs and to my room, closing the door behind me and collapsing on the bed, sobbing my eyes out.

"(Y/n)?"

I didn't bother looking up and just continued my sobbing ball of mess until I felt a hand on my shoulder, "(Y/n)?"

"He doesn't remember me!" I sobbed out, causing Susato and Ryuu, who had just entered the room, both to gasp.

"Umm... (Y/n), can I talk to you alone?"

Susato got the message and stood up, leaving my room, not before I noticed her, out of the corner of my eye, giving a thumbs up to Ryuu and mouthing 'good luck' to him. I heard the door close and footsteps before the bed shifted, "(Y/n)... you remember the way I acted when you came to tell us that Kazuma was awake?" I sat up and nodded towards him, motioning for him to continue, which he did, "Well, it's because I guess I was just a bit mad. You see I've had this crush on you for a while, like before you started dating Kazuma, and when that accident happened, I thought I might just get the chance to be with you, so when you told us he was alive and awake, it just shattered me and I got mad, knowing that you'd go straight back to him. I know it's extremely selfish, but I-I'm sorry. I should really go." Before he had the chance to stand up and leave my room, I placed a hand on his cheek and kissed him, "Even before dating Kazuma, there was a part of my heart that belonged to you Ryuu. Plus, Kazuma doesn't seem to remember me, so I'd be honoured if you would take the position of Sakura's father and my boyfriend. If you want to." He smiled at me and nodded, leaning in to kiss me again.

A few years later, I was sitting on a bench in the local park watching Ryuu pushing Sakura on the swings, happiness filling my whole body. In the years that had passed, I'd moved on from Kazuma, allowing my heart to fully belong to Ryuu. However, my happiness was soon disturbed, "(Y/n)? Is that you?"

I looked up to see the face that I'd fallen for all those years ago, "Oh so now you remember me, Kazuma? Why not when I was at your bedside every day waiting for you to wake up until I had to go and start looking after Sakura?"

He blinked at me, "Sakura?"

I nodded but before I could say anything, I heard, "Mama!" and I bent down to pick up the small child, "Hello, Sakura."

"Hehe, hello," she then noticed Kazuma standing with me, "Mama, who's this?" I took a deep breath, "Sweetie, this is your biological father."

"But what about Papa?"

"He's not your biological father, Sakura."

Before Kazuma could question the situation, Ryuu approached us, "Sakura, please don't run off from me."

"Sorry, Papa."

It was now Ryuu's turn to notice Kazuma's presence, "Oh.. hello."

"Ahh, Ryuunosuke, my dear partner, how are you doing?" Kazuma asked, adding his signature laugh at the end. This seemed to have annoyed Ryuu however judging by his next statement, "Now you remember?! Kazuma, (Y/n) has been crying at your bedside waiting for you to wake up from that coma! And when you did you said you didn't know her at all! You don't get to come back and do this!"

I gulped and grabbed Ryuu's hand, picking Sakura up with my other hand, and walked off, leaving Kazuma standing there, stunned.

So this was supposed to turn into fluff at the end, but then I had the idea of Ryuu having a crush on the reader, so it turned into this... but I'll try to write another Kazuma oneshot it the future that will be pure fluff.
