I froze and turned on my heel to see the long red suit and grey hair belonging to the Chief Prosecutor, "I do see why you need to know Miles, I was just going out to investigate a case and-"

"You can't lie to me, (Y/n). I know you're not on a case right now."

I sighed and bit my lip, looking down at the floor, "Oh... hehe, yeah, I guess you're right. Well, fine, I'll be honest. I was just going down to the Space Centre, I've been swamped with paperwork and my personal life is really hectic so, I need some time to clear my head, i-is that okay?" I froze again when I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see him giving me a small smile, "Very well. I will allow you to go. Do go home after your visit though, You look, and excuse me for saying this, but you look like you haven't slept in days."

"Hehe, that would be because I haven't... but the details aren't important. I'll just be going now.."

"Mr Wright, I know this is a bit not relevant, but have you seen (Y/n) recently?"

He turned to me and shook his head, "Sorry Athena, I haven't, why?"

"Well, it's just that she promised that she'd come and pick Bella up yesterday, and she's not even texted me since the 15th."

Before the boss could answer the door to the agency opened, "Wright, did (Y/n) come back here on the 15th?"

"No, she didn't. Edgeworth, what's going on?"

I picked Bella up, and tried to distract her, having a feeling I knew what the situation was already, "Mr Wright, I'm going to take Bella out for a bit..." before walking out of the agency, after putting Bella's coat on her.
