Other notes: Yes, I am now obsessed with this man... Curse my brain. I don't know Valant's personality too well, as I haven't finished Turnabout Succession yet, so if he's ooc, sorry!

"You want me to WHAT?!" I all but shouted at our teacher, sending a sideways glare at Valant who had been throwing pieces of balled-up paper at my head the whole lesson.

"I'm sure you heard me, (Y/n). I've noticed that Valant's attention has been elsewhere these past few classes, and his grades have been suffering because of it. I'm asking you to tutor him to bring his grades back up. You're the top student in this class, so I know you understand all the material, so you're the best person to do so."

I sighed, "Fine," I muttered before grabbing my, slightly annoying, classmate out of the classroom by the wrist, not noticing the slight smirk on our teacher's face.

"(Y/n) can you let me go, please? You're squeezing my wrist!"

I grumbled and let him go before pinning him against a nearby locker, thankful it was now the end of the school day, and there was no one else in the corridor, otherwise they might have taken the scene a different way, "Listen here, 'Buddy'. I don't want to do this. You've been distracting me every class we have together, throwing paper balls at me, and it's not helpful. I'm doing this because I'm getting extra credit for helping you, it's not for your sake, okay"

Valant nodded and I grumbled again, "Now follow me, we're doing this now to get it over with."

"Where?"

I mentally groaned, "Are you stupid? The library to study!"

"Now, can you tell me who the first four presidents of America were?"

"Uhh...." Valant replied, as he banged his head against the table, his black hair flopping all over the books we had out. I sighed rubbing my temples, "Come on, it's easy."

"W-wait... I got this!" he exclaimed, lifting his head to look at me, "Firstly, Washington."

"Well done. The second one?"

I heard a familiar voice before Valant could say anything else, "(Y/n)! What brings you here? I thought you were acing History."

"I am, Thalassa," I replied (I know she'd be like 4 years younger, but it's a public library), I've been dragged into tutoring this," I continued, pointing my thumb towards Valant, "And it's driving me crazy!"

"May I make a suggestion then? Try finding a way of learning that sticks the information in his mind better. I know you work best by staring at lists, (Y/n), but maybe Valant is a visual learner or something?"

I nodded and smiled at her, "Thanks, Las!"

She just returned the smile and walked off after saying goodbye to both of us, claiming she had an essay to finish, even though I could tell it was an excuse for her to hang out with her boyfriend. I shook my head and turned back to Valant, "Okay so..." I stopped talking when I realised he was playing with a small bunny that had appeared on the table, "W-where did that come from?"

"I made him appear. Say, (Y/n), do you like magic?"

"We're not going to get distracted Valant. Now, put your little buddy away, and let's get back to this studying."

He sighed, placing the bunny on his head, "Can she stay here though?"

"As long as she's not going to distract you, you can keep the bunny out."

Valant smiled and nodded, perking up a bit. I let out a small giggle, feeling a warmth in my heart at his new attitude, and thought for a moment, "How about we try it like this?" I spoke, taking out a piece of lined paper and writing out the numbers 1-4, as well as the surnames of the first 4 presidents. I cut them out so they were all individual pieces of paper, and passed them to Valant, "Try matching them up. That's how my brother learns best, so may as well try it with you."

He nodded and carefully thought for a few minutes, as he started to organise the 8 little pieces of paper. I just watched, a smile on my face, until I felt a fluffy thing nuzzle my hand. I looked down and realised it was the little rabbit Valant had kept out. I giggled and turned my hand over, allowing the baby mammal to hop on. She seemingly smiled and snuggled in going to sleep. I heard chuckling and looked up to see Valant with his phone out, a large smile on his face, "So the school's emotionless wall melts with rabbits."

"Shut it, you weren't cheating were you? Looking them up?"

"No, I finished. Is this right?" he asked turning the piece of paper he'd used to place his guess on around so I didn't have to look at them upside down. I read over and nodded, smiling, "Well done. That is correct! Now we move onto something else."

A few weeks later, we had a test, and just as I was putting my stuff away, going to grab my sports clothes, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and mentally sighed, seeing Valant standing there, a smile on his face, "Hi, (Y/n)!"

"Hello... what is it?"

"Is that any way to treat your student?" he questioned, "I just wanted to show you this!" he exclaimed, handing me a piece of paper. I raised an eyebrow at him in confusion as he pointed to a certain spot on the paper. I followed his finger seeing that he was pointing at his percentage; 94%. I smiled and handed it back to him, "Well done!"

"It was your help that got me to this stage, (Y/n). Thank you! Is there anything I can do to repay you?"

Before I had a chance to respond, someone else had answered for me, "Kiss her!"

My eyes widened and I turned to the voice, giving Thalassa the middle finger, "Shut up!"

When I turned back to Valant, his face was bright red, "I-I was honestly hoping you would ask for something similar." This turned my face red and I stuttered "I-I..." Not trusting my words, I grabbed the collar of his uniform and kissed him full-on. I soon felt his hand on my cheek.

"Meet me after Biology today. Dinner's on me," I whispered into his ear, pecking his cheek.
