Yu ZiYuan looked at Wei WuXian and Lan WangJi holding hands under the magnolia tree as she walked past it. She slowly crept closer to them to observe more.
Undee the setting sun, they looked beautiful, like two immortals destined for love for eternity of time.
'Yes, sail my ship. Sail with glory!'
However, she couldn’t really observe much as they both sensed her presence and turned around, "Who?" asked Wei WuXian.
And then immediately his guard turned down, he smiled, "Aunt Yu." Lan WangJi and Wei WuXian both bowed in greeting.
Yu ZiYuan walked towards them and as they straightened themselves she complained, "Did I not tell you both to not bow to me?" she mock raged. She wasn’t angry, only that, Yu ZiYuan felt like she didn’t deserve the bows she got from them.
Lan WangJi's eyes showed amusement, and Wei WuXian giggled softly, "Ah, old habits die hard."
He immediately then ushered, "Let's go somewhere else. Lan Zhan."
"Mn."
Yu ZiYuan knew what they were communucating about using their minimal language and couldn’t help but smile. They didn’t need much talking to understand what the other was trying to tell.
Their love was beautiful to witness.
As they walked slowly towards the bunny field, Yu ZiYuan's expression hardened, "Did A-Cheng say anything about the meeting? It's been a while. By now, the meeting should be arranged."
"He did send one of his disciples to inform of it." Wei WuXian turned around, his silver eyes narrowed in concentration, contrasting the greenery around them, "Jiang Cheng has arranged it alright. All that's left is, for you to go there."
"I see." Yu ZiYuan put a hand over her chin, "What should I say as an excuse?"
"Easy, break rules." Wei WuXian joked as he shrugged, and as a reward he received a flick on his forehead from Yu ZiYuan, "Ow!" he pouted as he covered his forehead, "Aunt Yu, I was giving good advice."
Yu ZiYuan remembered where he had actually experienced this particular 'advice' from and sighed, "WangJi, how do you handle him, honestly?"
Lan WangJi didn’t say anything as he only looked at Wei WuXian.
'I love him.' that was how.
Yu ZiYuan shook her head at the two love birds, "Alright. So I will need an approval. I guess the actual reason is enough to get an approval."
"Which is?" Wei WuXian smiled. He knew what she was thinking, Lan WangJi's golden eyes also seemed to perceive what they were thinking.
"The Yunmeng Jiang sect wanting to know of my powers over Zidian. Sounds perfect, right?" she grinned.
"Great minds think alike." Wei WuXian grinned alike to her.
"That way, it won't be a surprise for me to be in the Jiang sect quarters for a while. I will also be able to see how Lotus Pier is running after all these years. I am sure A-Cheng has made it as beautiful as it used to be." her gaze turned distant as her lips quivered into a bitter smile. Her heart was weighed with all sorts of emotions at the thought of visiting Lotus Pier.
Wei WuXian understood the bitter smile on her face, and his eyes showed softness, "You will be going to your home finally."
Yu ZiYuan shrugged, "Hey, it’s your home too." her lips curled up, but dropped the next second seeing Wei WuXian flinch violently.
Lan WangJi held his hand a little tighter, "Wei Ying." His other hand rested on his back, rubbing small circles behind. The large, warm hand was comfortable, and made Wei WuXian feel at ease.
