Days flew by so fast. He wanted to sleep in the mansion in one of our guest rooms. He said we didn't have to tell our parents, pero pinitik ko lang siya sa noo bago siya pinauwi.

Time felt like a quick yet sweet dream when he was here, and now he has to return to Massachusetts.

When we parted at the airport after a kiss on the forehead and a tight embrace, as I watched him enter the departure area, I couldn't help but think that something has definitely changed between the two of us.

I mean, he has gotten sweeter and more understanding. He's still curious about things, but doesn't probe me any further if he feels I'm not in the mood to talk about it. Aside from that, is it just me or did he get too... perfect?

I can't tell if it's a good or bad change, but I can only hope for it to be the former.

School continued and it's now September 6, Thursday. Ivan's classes already began last Monday, pero wala rin silang pasok nung Tuesday dahil holiday (Labor Day). Should've just declared Monday to have no classes para long weekend, haha.

Right now, me and the Taekwondo Club are in a practice tournament against Willow High School. We're currently in a sports center to conduct the practice.

I watched Oliver, one of our new club members, execute a roundhouse kick to his opponent by turning his hip sideways without kicking, just turning, then when he turned, he extended his leg and was about to make an impact on his opponent whom caught his leg, stepped backwards then threw his kick away before swiftly doing a roundhouse kick of his own against Oliver who was caught off guard.

I nodded at him then firmly tapped his shoulder for acknowledgement.

"You did great, Oliver," I praised, "You were great in defending. We just need to work on your attacks."

Sunod-sunod siyang tumango, "Yes, Pres. Thank you very much."

He bowed at me before he headed to the other members.

"You all did great today, guys!" natutuwang pambungad niya sa amin, "I'm not gonna hold you out any longer. Practice ends now, and I'll see you each other again tomorrow at 4:30. Any more questions?"

"Aren't you gonna treat us out, Ms. Jones?" asar ni Scarlett at nagsisunuran naman ang iba.

"Alright, alright," she gestured for us to settle down, "I can't right now since I'm busy. But I'll treat you on Saturday--"

"YEY!!!"

"--after practice," napahawak na lang siya sa noo at napailing, pero ang mga labi niya'y nakangiti.

After a few more teasing, she dismissed us, "Alright then. That's all. Take care on your way home now. Don't forget to send a message on the club GC once you get home so I can be assured that you're safe. See you tomorrow!"

Today, we practiced for two hours since 5 PM and it's currently 7. Pinakahuli na rin ang laban ni Oliver, and out of all the twenty matches we played today against Willow, we won a score of 12-8, twelve being our score. We need to practice as much as we can dahil next next week na ang Intramurals, and what better way to improve our skills than to go and find new challenges and competitors outside of Golden Oak?

Parang bumalik lang kami sa dati na nag-aasaran, but I can tell that he has become friendlier pero malakas pa rin talaga mang-asar. Though I'm still hostile towards him because he doesn't seem to understand the words personal space and boundary.

I was just using my phone, exchanging messages with Ivan because I was updating him and checking other messages nang may nakakuha ng atensyon ko mula sa isang group chat na hindi ko alam kung para saan. Catherine was just added randomly in it before. Probably just a random friend group.

In a distant space and different time... In a corner of another world, a mysterious young man bathed in warm dappled sunlight shining through the tree leaves above him. The wind blew his long brown hair away from his face, caressing his soft skin and defined features. His long lashes framed his beautiful brown eyes, the same color as the coffee in his cup that he took a sip from in such a wonderful cozy weather.

He sat outside a coffee shop, its exteriors inspired from the old medieval houses made out of wood and stone. Albeit living in an era of advanced technology, the humble coffee shop reminded him of the old times...

The other customers sitting around stared at him in awe. Like a supermodel who walked straight out of a magazine, sporting a look of spring: patterned wool vest over a white longsleeved undershirt, its sleeves folded neatly to his elbows, cream-colored slacks, and brown leather loafers.

He looked so beautiful and elegant--less unreal, more a god.

"I heard you have been searching for me recently," his perfectly shaped cupid bow lips fashioned into a smile at the newcomer, an old friend who stopped near his table.

Never have been gentle features of a face looked so sharp because of his serious expression. His thick and long black hair flowed with the wind, then his golden brown doe eyes met his dark ones.

"Mordall," Agen called, his voice weighed heavy and deep.

"Not 'Mordy'?" the former chuckled in such a mature manner. He rested his left cheek on the back of his hand. His eyes sparkled like the sun.

"It's been a while, old friend."
