He kept convincing me to stay and just skip my classes but in the end, he gave up.

On the way to Golden Oak, I took a brown envelope out of my handbag na naglalaman ng iilang mga pictures na gagamitin ko panglaban kay Luca.

After our classes, I plan on talking to him at the Taekwondo club room. Wala naman kaming club meeting ngayon kaya pwede kaming mag-usap roon.

I can't believe I have to resort to this para lang tigilan niya ako. I didn't want to do this but he's being aggressive himself.

"My proposal is... break up with him and be with me, then I won't touch him."

"You know what I can do, Catherine. I'll give you three days to decide."

Can't I just live a normal and happy life? One where I can just be in love, achieve my dreams and goals, and do whatever I want?

Josie waiting for me (I gave her the gift I brought for her from the mall and she was ecstatic), people praising me, teachers asking why I was absent this morning, and Luca...

Nagkasabay kami sa hallway papuntang classroom. Nang magkatinginan kami'y nginisian niya ako, "Hi."

"Josie," I called to her standing beside me, "You should head to the room first. I'll catch up with you."

I felt she wanted to ask why, but in the end she just nodded her head.

"O-okay," then she went first inside.

Luca raised his brows in astonishment, "Did you want to be alone with me because you missed me?"

I wasn't in the mood to play along, "Let's talk later after class at the club room."

Sensing my seriousness, he slightly pursed his lips before looking away, "Fine."

I felt him followed me, and the stares that fell upon us as we entered the room.

It was as if it has become an unspoken and unwritten rule that there is a specific spot given to me in whatever class or room. Hindi tulad sa iba na paiba-iba sila ng upuan o pwesto tuwing papalit kami ng classroom for a different subject.

Josie even said that if I wanted to change seats on a whim, the whole class would just simply agree and give it to me.

Interestingly, the same treatment applies to Luca.

It just seems that whoever is at the top of the school's hierarchy would be treated like royalty to the point of unjust. And the top of the hierarchy isn't simply based on your academic standing, but also your family background.

Those who have only their family reputation and no academic standing falls second, equal to those who only have great and impeccable academic standing who doesn't come from a well-known family.
