Author's Note:
We're blasting ahead 4 years because that's the age of Ruby, Tommy's daughter. We'll meet the family in a still grieving state, though less intense because of the time passing. But for Tommy (and us), it will feel like yesterday.
I did also promise some flashbacks, which will be never-read moments between a younger Kizzie and Tommy. It will be part of Tommy's grieving process/decent into madness. He's a much more dangerous man this season, even in the show he is revealed to be more paranoid and ruthless.
I purposefully structured the narrative to fit with each season so that Kizzie's death would make sense for season 5.
