These images remained stuck in Killua's mind all the time; he couldn't think of anything else. It just hurt more and more. He cried, he screamed, and he felt overwhelming guilt. The thought that it might have been his fault that Kite died haunted him. Killua didn't know that Kite was still alive, and even if he did, he wouldn't want to see him.

Killua had so many problems. First, he brought Alluka to Canary because she had given up her job as a butler and decided to take care of Alluka. Killua did this because he had no time to look after Alluka himself; he had to stay vigilant and make sure Illumi wasn't around. Killua had to keep training, which left him with very little sleep. He barely took care of himself, eating hardly anything. He called Canary frequently to make sure Alluka was okay. During this time, Canary had also found a boyfriend, and together they took care of Alluka.

Killua wasn't capable of looking after her at that moment. He could only manage it for a short while.

The four of them went for a walk and found a beautiful, clear river. They lived in a bustling city not too far from the Zoldyck house. Killua was able to relax a bit in this peaceful moment. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and the river crossed many small bridges—it was simply beautiful. Alluka loved it; she found some cute squirrels and followed them as they snuggled up to her. Canary made sure the squirrels didn't have rabies, and her boyfriend kept an eye out too. Killua enjoyed seeing Alluka so happy and peaceful.

This went on for a while until Killua heard footsteps. The four continued walking, and they all heard the footsteps too, except for Alluka, who kept walking along. The footsteps were getting closer.

"Why are we walking faster?" Alluka asked.

Canary replied, "I think it's time to head back now, don't you?"

Her boyfriend and Killua nodded. Killua made a sign indicating that he would stay behind and that they should take Alluka away from here, which they did.

Killua now stood all alone in the small, dense forest. He was very unsure who it could be, thinking it might be Illumi. Killua moved much further away, hoping the footsteps would follow him, leading the person away from Alluka. The footsteps sometimes grew quieter, sometimes louder. When they became much louder, Killua started running, thinking it might be a weak opponent.

He ran to a nearly abandoned village, but the footsteps continued, growing louder and drawing closer. "This is enough," Killua wanted to say, but he was interrupted by a blow to his face, causing him to fall. The hit wasn't very painful, but in front of him stood a man completely covered in a black cloak. The man was chewing something crunchy as he approached Killua.

Killua tried to keep his distance, but it was too late. The man's hand emitted electricity, creating a thick, rope-like current that wrapped around Killua's waist, holding him tightly. "Who the hell are you, and what do you want?" Killua shouted, but he received no answer. Frustrated, Killua cut the electric rope and charged at the man, landing a hard punch to his face. The man immediately fell over.

Killua was astonished at how weak the man was and how he didn't fight back.

"They're back, they're back! Oh my god, they're back!" shouted a very old man whose eyes were closed.

"It's all right, old man," Killua said casually. But before Killua could leave, the old man pulled out a huge machine and fired it at Killua. Killua didn't have time to dodge and immediately fell, losing consciousness.

"Oh, I got the wrong one," muttered the old man as he approached the unconscious Killua lying on the ground. He looked at him and exclaimed, "This one is different?!"
