"If I could, can I put in a request for how the Omori characters would react if you couldn't sleep/had a nightmare? {Whether you want to include Space Boyfriend and Sweetheart is completely up to you! ^^}"

Starting to work through all the requests I had from months ago! Again, sorry this has taken so long. I'd also like to apologize in advance if the Omori crew is OOC at all, I haven't really played the game since last summer.

Ah, but this is making me want to get back into Omori though....

▸He's experienced his fair share of nightmares himself but... he doesn't know how to help another person.

▸Sunny doesn't have any healthy ways to cope, and that includes whatever sort of effect nightmares give him, so how on earth is he supposed to help you?!

▸Seeing you in such a distressed/panicked state will make him feel the same.

"Um... Y/N? Are you... okay?"

I mean, he knows you aren't, but what else is he supposed to say?!

▸I feel he'd awkwardly sit there and stare at you until you respond, or your state gets worse.

▸It's only then that he'd silently ask if you want a hug.

If you do, he'll hug you and just silently hold you.

If you don't he'll give a small nod of acknowledgement and just silently observe you to watch out for any changes.

▸He may not be the best at comforting, but if you need anything just say the word and Sunny will do his best.

▸I feel like Sunny, Basil has also had his fair share of nightmares... and similarly isn't too sure how to approach the sudden situation.

▸Basil will anxiously wait for you to tell him what to do, he doesn't want to accidentally make your current state worse.

▸A hug? Done.

Need him to just info dump about flowers to distract your mind? Of course.

Want him to just wait for you to collect yourself? He can do that.

▸Basil also has no problem making you a calming herbal tea too, if that's your kind of thing.

▸He wouldn't consider him any good at comforting others, but he helps you more than he knows.

Let him know that sometime, okay?

▸Definitely gifts you a Mullein flower a few days later.

"This is a mullein flower, it helps with lots of things... some even say it helps ward off nightmares."

▸Kel is the one who has the most energy in this situation.

"Y/N?! Hey, what's wrong?!"

▸He will do anything and everything silly he can think of to help comfort you.

▸If that doesn't work, he'll offer you physical affection; hugs and cuddles.

▸Kel will absolutely shower you with kisses if you allow him to.

▸If you choose to tell Kel about your nightmare, he will comment goofy things like: "I'd beat that guy/monster up for ya, Y/N."

▸Kel would also build you a pillow/blanket fort to try and bring you more comfort.

"There. Now you've got a protective barrier around you!"

▸Oh, Hero is up and ready to aid you almost immediately.

"Y/N, here, can you look at me?"

▸Hero is honestly probably the best option for something like this.

▸He has the calmest, most soothing voice.

He'll speak to you so softly and delicately to not further worsen your current state.

▸If you want to vent to him about your nightmare, he's all ears.

▸He knows you like the back of his hand, so he'll know how to act to help comfort you. (i.e. jokes, flirting, physical affection, etc.)

▸No matter how long he has to stay up with you, he will.

You're the most important person in his life, he'd pull an all nighter to help you if he had to.

▸Aubrey definitely gets all soft when she sees you in such a distressed/panicked state from your nightmare.

"Hey, Y/N? Try to breathe, okay?"

▸She's the type to give you space at first, only stepping in if your state gets worse or better.

▸Don't get it twisted though, Aubrey is very worried about you... she just doesn't want to pry right away in fear of making things worse.

▸Aubrey may step out for a moment, but when she comes back, she'll have your favourite warm drink and snack at the ready.

▸She'll sit next to you once you give her the 'okay,' and hold your hand if you're comfortable with it.

▸Talk to her, please. Aubrey may not look it, but she knows exactly what to say to help comfort you and put you at ease.

▸It hurts Maris heart to see you in such a state, she can't help the frown that forms on her face...

▸She'll ever so gently cup your face and have you look at her, pressing her forehead against yours.

"I'm here, Y/N. Deep breaths."

▸She'll do whatever it takes to comfort you. She knows just how too. (i.e. if you like her singing, she'll hum a soothing song to you.)

▸Mari stays by your side until you're completely calm, doing whatever it is you need to feel at ease the entire time.

▸Mari is also sure to compliment you once you've calmed down more.

▸Once you're calm, she'll make you a tea/coffee/hot chocolate, and offer to play you something on the piano to distract your mind.
