You were feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and you were definitely at your breaking point.
Your partner noticed, and wanted to help you feel better.

▸Sunny's no good with words... or touch... or comforting people in general, so he really will try his best.
▸He'd probably be awkward and hesitant at first.
He wouldn't want to make your mood worse accidentally.
▸Sunny wouldn't talk to you. Not because he doesn't want to, but because he's generally a quiet guy and again, he wouldn't know what to say to make you feel better.
▸Open up to Sunny, vent to him. He's been through a lot himself, there's no way he wouldn't understand you.
▸Sunny would offer to make you a nice warm drink (hot chocolate, tea, coffee, etc.) and get you a warm blanket to try and help you feel less sad.
▸Will probably pat your head once your tears start to dry as a silent: 'see? I'm here.'

▸Similar to Sunny, Basil would also be awkward and hesitant at first.
What if what he does or says makes you cry more?!
▸However, if he knows what you're okay with during moments of vulnerability like this he'll do that.
(I.E. if you'd want to be held, or wouldn't want to be touched at all)
▸Please, don't shut Basil out. If you do he'll overthink things and fear he's the one who made you this upset.
▸Basil is more than happy to listen to you as you vent. He may not always know what to say, but he'll listen to each and every word.
▸Will help distract your mind if you want by rambling about flowers and plants.
▸Expect a nice flower from him with a special meaning the next time you see him.
