"PAPAAA" I screamed and woke up from my sleep.
I was breathing heavily and there was sweat on my forehead. "Why? Why this still happens?" I cried holding my parents photograph in my hands.
"You left, but the pain is not leaving me. The fear of loosing you still haunts in my nightmares when you are already not there" I said and hugged my parents photograph but wiped off my tears when I heard a sound of the door opening.I composed myself and got out of the room when I found Prisha "Agai tu? Is everything fine now?" I asked and Prisha nodded. "Water?" I asked and she took the glass of water from my hand.
"Hii" Karan said as soon as he entered there. "Hello karan" I said and smiled as I knew him because I have seen their pictures together. "You must be Chahat ! Right?" He asked and forwarded his hand towards me.
"Well lagta to yahi hai" I said and chuckled while I shook my hand with him."I am sorry Chahat! I shouldn't have left you there that too when I insisted you to come" Prisha said gaining our attention "Array! Pagal hai kya? That was an emergency and you don't need to be sorry about it" I said and gave her a smile.
"You had dinner?" Karan asked looking at me and I nodded and said "Did you guys eat?" I asked and they both answered in a "Yes".
"Okay girls! You both should sleep now and I also need to go home." Karan said while waving a bye to me and placing a kiss on Prisha's forehead and left.
"Are you okay Chahat? You were looking so lost today, I hope it's all good?" Prisha said and I stopped when I was about to go to my room.
"Yes baby! Everything is fine. I have a meeting tomorrow and I was thinking about that only. Now go sleep and let me sleep too. Good night!" I said with a big smile on my face as it helps me in hiding my pain and tears behind it. "Good night" she said while patting on my cheek and left for her room.
