Aakarsh's POV:
It's been two days already since that incident happened and I am still not able to forget the morning after that day. No doubt that day was the biggest nightmare of my life when I saw the love of my life in that state but the next morning was the most beautiful morning of my life.
I woke up with the sunlight directly falling on my face so, I opened my eyes with an irritation and saw that Chahat was sleeping on the couch in front of me.. she was looking too beautiful and the fact that she was sleeping in her room but came here just to be around me was making my heart fluttered with happiness.
However the other fact that, I am still not able to find the person who was responsible for her state that day is annoying me. We have already got the CCTV checked but the person entered with a mask and his face was not captured in the camera but I swear, the day I find him would be the last day of him.
I tried to convince Chahat to live with Rishabh or Shubhangi for a day or too but she was uncomfortable about it so, I did not force her. I asked my guards to keep an eye on her building without her knowledge.
The things didn't go as per my plan as I wanted to buy the flat opposite to hers so, that I can be near her until Prisha comes back but the formalities took time due to an emergency in the owner's family but hopefully that will be sorted till the evening today.
For the last two nights, I have been sleeping in my car in her building's parking area.. I never thought, I would do such things but If it's for her then I can go to any extent. She doesn't know about it or else she would kill me for doing all this.
"Hello handsome!" I heard her voice getting me out of my thoughts as she was here with both her hands on her back and tilting her head a little bit to look at the file that, I was holding in my hand.
"Hey beautiful! What are you looking at?" I asked.
"I am just trying to figure out, what's so important in the file that you have been looking at it for last 15 minutes." She said making me surprised at the fact that she was now standing here for 15 minutes and I was so busy in my own thoughts that, I didn't even notice.
"You tell me first! What are you hiding behind?" I asked while tilting my head a bit to see what she is holding in her hands.
"Close your eyes!" She said and I squinted my eyebrows in confusion.
