CHAHAT VOHRA

"Guys, it's 2 am in the night, what do you guys want?" Arsh looked at me and Aarohi with annoyance as we have defeated him and Preeti bua for more than three times now. It's funny that we are counting rounds of carrom when we should be counting rounds of....forget it.

"I feel hungry." I said, looking down at my stomach where my hand was rested.

"Me too." Aarohi said.

"Me too." Preeti bua said.

"Well, if you are cooking something than me too." Aakriti aunty also joined us.

"Oh so, the whole family is hungry." He sighed.

"No, only the beautiful ladies of the family." Aarohi said proudly.

"Come on Aakarsh, cook something for us." Preeti bua said.

"Okay fine, tell me. What do you guys want to eat?" He asked softly while heading towards the kitchen with all four of us walking behind him.

"Vegetable sandwich. You know what Chahat? He makes really good sandwiches." Preeti bua told me while pointing at Arsh.

"Okay, then I will also have sandwich." I said in excitement.

"I will have noodles." Aarohi demanded.

"And you mom?" He asked, as he glanced at his mother who was standing silently with a comforting smile on her face.

"Anything you would like to make." She smiled at him. Of course, in this world full of people who are hell bent to fulfill their demands and make deals, there are mothers who forget about their own choices while fulfilling their children's wishes.
