Chahat's POV:
I was sitting in my room when, I got a call from Bua that, Dadi is not well and she really wants to meet me. To be honest, I really don't feel like going there because, this time, I had to visit dadi at my taya Ji's house (uncle's house) and I left that place years ago but, I can't resist after knowing about Dadi's health so, I went downstairs to leave.
I had no answer when, Aakriti aunty asked me that, where am I going? But then, Aakarsh saved me from embarrassment and gave an excuse. He insisted on dropping me when, I told him about visiting daadi and I agreed because, I was already stressed about going there and when he is with me it makes me feel relaxed and relieved.
We were on the way when, he teased me about simran and I got angry but then he told me that, he was just teasing me.
Soon, we reached here and he assured me that, he would be waiting outside and I felt a little relieved about that.
I was about to get out of the car but then, I don't know what happened to me. I stopped and leaned towards him while, grabbing his collar and pecking his cheeks..he was so surprised about that.
Before, he could react any further ..I hurriedly stepped out of the car while, feeling shy and he tried to hold my hand but, I escaped.
"Chahat aram se jao, gir jaogi tum." I heard him saying but ignored and left.
Translation: "Walk carefully chahat or else you will fall down."
I went inside the house when, I saw my Tai ji and Taya ji standing there and their faces were not so pleased after seeing me but then, bua came to welcome me and I greet her..I also gave a smile to Taya ji and Tai ji but they did not return it.
I entered Dadi's room with bua but she was in unconscious state as, bua told me that the doctor has given injection to her.
I sat on the chair near her bed and caressed her forehead while, my elder cousin who was present in the room was giving me looks.
"Kaisi hai daadi? Kya kaha doctor ne?" I asked bua.
Translation: "How is daadi? What did the doctor say?"
"Doctor ne kya kehna hai, jiske Ghar ki betiyaa aisi ho wo thik kaise ho sakta hai."
Translation: "What should the doctor say, How can someone in the family be okay when they have such daughters."
"ABHAY!!!!" Bua shouted but, I stopped her.
"Let him say bua, I don't care." I said.
"Huh! We already know that, you don't care...about anyone because you are selfish and you only think about yourself." I heard Tai ji saying while, she entered the room.
