This chapter is very very emotional (for me at least) because I am scared to talk about someone's death...especially when it's anyone's parents so I just kept delaying to reveal it because I did not plan to reveal it at the end of the book but here we are... it's almost the end of the book and maybe it's the third last chapter of the book...
I am writing this chapter with a heavy heart as whenever I am writing about the scenes... someone's face is coming in front of my eyes...and it's just a bit difficult so please don't mind if I make mistakes or you do not like it.
So, let's begin!

AAKARSH VOHRA
I was sitting in my office, still basking in the warmth of my romantic conversation with Chahat, when I disconnected her call. But my tranquility was short-lived. Within 15-20 minutes, my phone started ringing incessantly. I answered, and Shruti's worried voice greeted me.
Chahat wasn't responding to her calls, and Shruti's concern was palpable. To uncover the truth, I feigned ignorance about my earlier conversation with Chahat. Shruti's words hit me like a ton of bricks as she told me that Chahat was in that house earlier and she was not responding to Shruti's call My blood boiled, and I felt a deep sense of hurt.
I told Shruti that Chahat was fine as I spoke to her a few minutes ago and just to confirm, I called mom and asked her if Chahat was actually present in front of her or not and as she said 'Yes'; I felt relieved.
I still couldn't believe that she could lie so easily, we just spoke a few minutes ago and she did not even try to tell me about that? She even spoke to me like nothing happened? The only thing I stop her from is from risking her own safety and she can't even listen to that?
Why would she do that? I had devoted countless days to destroy those people while my wife is the one to help them survive while I am waiting for them to be in hell. If she really wanted to visit or have a talk with them then she could have trusted me enough to tell me and take me with her or she could have asked them to visit us but no, she did not even bother to tell me. Even when I arrived at the Vohra mansion, she acted as if she did nothing.
My anger simmered, waiting to erupt. And as soon as we stepped into our home, I lost control. My emotions spilled over, and I lashed out at Chahat, my words fueled by a mix of hurt, anger, and betrayal.
As I consoled Chahat, her tears and anguish pierced my heart. But what she said next made me feel like I'd been punched in the gut. She accused me of being part of a conspiracy to keep her in the dark about her father's death. Her words cut deep, and I felt a wave of guilt wash over me.
