Author's POV:

The function started as this was the day, when the couple was going to get married. The excitement was clear on everyone's faces.

Beautiful intricately designed yellow and green fabric draped everywhere: on walls, curtains, even the ceiling. The color yellow dominates, symbolizing prosperity and happiness. There are elaborate yellow marigold garland hanging from every possible place.

In the center of the courtyard, there is a grand mandap, decorated with fresh flowers, fairy lights and mirror work. The stage where the haldi rituals will take place is adorned with a beautiful swan shaped structure made of flowers symbolizing love and purity.

The same love and purity that Chahat and Aakarsh could see in each other's eyes while sitting next to each other, their hearts were filled with an immense amount of happiness and proud that they finally made it.

They have seen number of mornings together, but this one was different, this is the day when their status is going to be changed as 'married'. They will be officially together.

Aakarsh's eyes lit up with happiness and a soft chuckle left his mouth when he thought about the day, he met Chahat in the cafe, and she called him a kidnapper. Indeed, he was.

"Why are you smiling so much?" Chahat narrowed her eyes.

"Can't I?" Aakarsh raised his eyebrows.

"Of course, you can." She rolled her eyes.

"You didn't ask, why was I smiling?" He hit his shoulder with hers.

"Ouch! Chhote bache ho kya Arsh?" Chahat said, rubbing her shoulder.

(Are you a baby Arsh?)

"Nahi tumhare hone wale bache ka baap hu." Aakarsh winked at her, a blush coated her cheeks on his comment.

(No, I am the father of your baby)

"Besharam!" She smacked on his shoulder.

(Shameless)

"Acha! Khule aam mere kapde utarvao tum aur besharam main hu." He complained dramatically.

(Oh! you are the one who makes me take off my clothes openly and calling me shameless)

"Haa toh? tum mere nahi utaaa--------

(So what? You won't take of mine-------)

She stopped in the middle when she was on the way to make herself embarrass again.
