When the feeling got so overwhelmingly crazy, I lashed at him, pushing him away, so afraid that he would know my truth. But before I could, he pulled me over and kissed me so tenderly I thought he felt the same.

'I'm a fool.'

The unspoken conclusion echoes repeatedly inside his mind like a broken tape. His conversation with Hoseok replays...

"I was taking her for granted. I was only with her because of peace and normalcy she gave me. She was a convenience... A soulmate... I-I was..."

A fool.

What was he then, if not a fool?

Yoongi can't take it off his head. How else? The things he said was all true. He was practically using her, if what he had been remembering are real. However, he doubts their Soul Siren has the power to alter one's memory. And each second of it has been so crystal clear, it's carving and bleeding guilt through his being.

Until now, he can't understand how he was like that. So fucking stupid.

He was stupid to keep her without anyone knowing, believing that he was enough. Though he could see how it slowly sucked her soul, he remained impassive.

What if he told his brothers about her? They could have been living life fully. They could have been happier.

"You want her for yourself..."

Hoseok was right.

At that time, he was holding her to his clutch, keeping her as his secret for the sake of his own gratification. Oh, how he internally shouted with joy when she asked him not to tell the others. And when he realized how he couldn't keep her on his greedy embrace, it was already too late. With just a command, he was chained and locked in the void without her. His memories of her were back on that bitter day of first seeing her. He was back to being fearful, second guessing, and self-conscious of being a useless horrid soulmate.

Well, he had been always horrid.

How did the Min Yoongi exactly five years ago did that to her?

But now with the memory of them together, the months of longings, his chest clenches.

He wants her back, but how?

How could he turn back time and mend all the things he did? Did the opposite, took good care of her, and cherish her as a good soulmate should... Made her his top priority... Told her that he whole heartedly believed her, and that he's always with her in every happiness and struggles. He wanted to let her feel that everything would be okay...

His grip on the steering wheel tightens. The sceneries passing yet he can't fully focus on his surroundings, just the peaceful road ahead and the chaos of his thoughts...
