(Rein POV)

Pagpasok namin ni Paulo ng ball, nakita ko si Lorraine na halatang nagulat. Alam ko naman na galit siya kay Paulo. Kelangan ko silang kausapin mamaya at i-explain ang nangyari.

“Rein pakinggan mo ung music” sabi ni Pau saken

The song of Katherine McPee is playing on the background. Eto ung kinanta namin last foundation day.

With that I smiled “Terrified”

His eyes never left my face as if he’s memorizing my features.

I have mixed emotions pero isa lang ang alam ko…and that’s at this moment I feel the pain slowly easing away.

(Dave POV)

“Okay salamat pare” sabi ko sa kausap ko sa cellphone. Sila ung nag set-up ng pupuntahan ko mamaya.

Wonder where and what it is?

I’m gonna tell Rein how I feel for her sa lugar na alam kung mahal niya – ang burol. Si Hannah ang master mind ng lahat ng to. Di ba sabi ko naman I’m willing to wait for her to forget Paulo and just be her friend, but Hannah insist on letting me confess. Sana lang this will work.

Nasalubong ko si Bryan papasok and he stop me

“Pare, tara muna sa labas” hinihila niya ko

“Bakit? Ano bang meron?” tanong ko

“Basta halika na” giit niya

Sasama n asana ako sa kanya pero nakita ko si Michelle (vice president ng klase) na kumakaway saken at tinatawag ako. Wala ng nagawa si Bryan nung lumapit ako sa ball.

“Anong problema Mich?” tanong ko

“Tawag ka ni Ma’am Hernandez. Mag-aawarding na “ sabi niya

I just nod at her and leave Bryan with a bothered face. Ano ba kasing meron?

Nasa may back stage si Ma’am kaya bago ka makapunta dun dadaanan mo ung dance floor. Natutuwa ako sa mga kaklase kong ang sweet sumayaw. I was about to take off my glance when I saw her – them.

I was shocked and frozen into place. She’s dancing happily with Paulo and from the way he looks at Rein. Alam kong may mali, akala ko ba mahal niya si Bianca? Ano to?

Blangko ung utak ko at sa totoo lang wala akong naintindihan sa sinabi ni Ma’am. Pumunta na ko sa stage to announce the winners.

Nagsalita na si Mich, dalawa kaming MC.

“And now we will announce the award for the Couple of the Night…none other than the lovebirds from three Autumn! Lorraine and Bryan!”

Before they leave the stage they both gave me a sad and worried look. I just nod and smile to them to assure them that I’m okay.

“The Star of the Night is none other than Ms. Bianca Lee!”

Pero wala si Bianca. And that made me wonder again. Dumating silang magkasama ni Paulo, anong nangyari?

“Who will be this year Mr. and Ms. Junior Prom?”
